Hello all,

I'm looking to either start or join a Champions or other Hero RPG in the great city of New York. I have a few interested people but would like to have at least three players to start. We would be more than happy to teach or refresh anyone's memory of the game. We'd probably shoot for a Friday night but can be flexible.

The plan would be to use the Neurtral Ground, a gaming center on 26th and 7th that has a space for RPGers to spread out. Let me know if you're interested.

Hi Moonblade,

I am always interested in getting the chance to not be behind the screens. I will play any system as long as the story is good. please let me know more about what you want to do.

FYI, Neutral Ground has re-instituted there pay to play in there space policy. It is only $1.00 to play but many people have been changing there plans because of it.

Were are you located in the NY area?

We're paying at Neutral Ground?  I missed last week's game and this happens?

Are you sure that's not just for the two private spaces?  Those were always 50 cents per person per hour.

Anyway, I'd love to join this game, but I can't do better than an occasional guest shot, I can afford one weekly night on a regular basis, and it's already committed to Monday night GURPS Infinite Worlds at Neutral Ground.  But I am local and love superhero games.

Now if you would like to help me run a Superworld portion of the GURPS game, you're welcome to join.  :-)

Wow, playing with John and Tiny in a Supers game.  Yowzers!!  ;-)   I personaly love the Champions/Hero System.  If you got room for two, I may take a shot at this.  Much like Tiny, I don't want to be GM either.  I've done quite enough of that.  And why the hell did they have to make yet ANOTHER edition, dammit!   The book is just sitting in the bag I bought it in.  I think I bought it at DEXCON ... almost a year ago.  Annette and I have made some headway in fixing our place up and hope to have company if y'all don't mind coming to Middle Village.  Still in the works though.   I'll let ya know when.

Don't know about Moonblade, but yes, still GURPSing Monday nights at Neutral Ground, but looking for elsewhere.  At least, in this heat an alternative would be good.

Currently I'm GMing missions to Superworlds, but we aren't always in that genre.  You're welcome to play in only the missions that interest you though.

The agents (PCs) at this moment get super powers (boosted Strength, Dex, and HP) through Miraclo**, and they have a fair amount of other unusual powers anyway.  And the telekinetics get a big boost from the headgear they wear on Superworlds.  The firearms experts have to switch to non-lethal equipment though.

If any one is close to astoria queens I was trying to run either classic marvel super heros rpg or dc rpg classic. Any and all characters welcome. Was thinking maybe Mon or fridays pending on how many players.

::: starts Jumping up and down like a fool screaming,:::

 " me, me, me, me. I so need to play some DC heroes and not run it. I'm in College Point queens and ready to play."

LOL

Seriously, I would be very interested in playing in a DC heroes game.
Were and when are you thinking of running?
Pre generated characters or characters that we get to design?
If are own design how many points?
will you be using 3rd edition rule or the new blood of heroes rules?

{begin internal monologue while striking heroic pose}

What's this? A Supers game without me getting my personal invite? I guess it got lost in the mail. But fortunately I have managed to find this thread and let my intereste be known.

{ End internal monologue}

 Cool

John...... Seriously. That's a no-brainer for those of use who are familiar with old-school JSA and it's members. Man, as a Delphi, I could tell you about it; but it would require an Hour
