The Domain of Lovious Prime

Vlad appears 5 feet from the entrance of the ominous domain. The Helvetian stops at the gates takes a deep breath and begins pushing open one of the large gates. Once the gate is opened Vlad takes another moment to breath and then makes his journey toward the mansion in the distance.

The gates easily open for Vlad, he makes his way up the path to the mansion.  He notices that there is but a single light on in the manor, but as he nears the door, a few more lights flicker on.  A howl is heard off in the distance, and the feeling of thousands of watching eyes sweeps over Vlad as he nears the main door.

Vlad takes in the fear emanating from the domain and seems to find comfort in his surroundings. He notices the lights turning on and continues his journey. He takes the remaining steps cautiously toward the mansion. When he reaches the the door he will use the knocker or bell which ever is obvious

A gaunt man answers the door, dress appropriately for a butler circa 1890s New England.  Gas powered light spills out from behind him.  He is neither blocking, nor inviting with his position in the door.

"You have business with the Master?"

[VladGrimme]

Vlad nods and says,"I am Vladimere Ezekiah Grimme former Lugosi now Helvetia and I wish to speak with the Master if that is at all possible." Vlad stops moving forward and waits for the butlers reply

[Lovious]

The butler takes in Vlads words, gives a short nod, takes a step back to allow enterance into the hall beyond the door.
"We shall endevour to obtain an audience for you."
If Vlad enters he will close the door behind him, and lead him through the hall to a small parlor.
"I shall inform the Master of your request for an audience, is there anything you require in the meantime?  Any cloak I can take?  Some refreshment perhaps?"

[VladGrimme]

Vlad will follow and say,"Thank you I am fine waiting." Vlad will take out a deck of metal playing and begin shuffling.

[Lovious]

After a short time, the man re-appears, and says, "The Master will see you now."  and leads Vlad to Prime's office.  As you enter there is a squid-like creature in a tank to the left, several bookcases to the wall directly across from the door, and to the right of the door Prime sits behind a dark wood desk, behind him are several mirrors showing various exotic scenes.  There are two comfortable chairs facing the desk, with their backs to the door.   Up against the wall where the door is, near to the chairs is a beautifully ordaned box or chest.

The butler enters the room and announces, "Presenting Vladimere Ezekiah Grimme of Helvitia, formerly of Lugosi.".  With that he bows slightly and backs out of the room, closing the door behind Vlad.  Lovious Prime sits patiently.

Vlad follows and enters the room. Vlad speaks,"Greetings Master Prime. May I sit?" Vlad waits.

[Lovious]

Prime nods, "Of course, though there is no need for you to call me Master.  Most Avatars are more comfortable just calling me Prime."

[VladGrimme]

Vlad takes a seat and begins to speak,"Well then Prime it is an honor to speak with you. I want to explain why I came here amd requested an audience. I recently cast a ritual in order to help kick start a Lugosi verse Helvetian war. The ritual went off spectacularly and more effects than I expected. The main effect of the ritual was to disable Helvetian house powers, now I used a special sword in the ritual and sacrificed Cody with this sword." Vlad places the sword on the desk." The unusual effect was that when I killed Cody with this sword, I destroyed her in the absolute sense and then along with it the entire house Citadel. This threw the nexus toward apocalypse and then the council had many nexal assents  in order to bring her and the house back. This was all good and all except I gave up to much in the ritual and now am Helvetia. What I was wondering if you could help me learn control. I can wield the power but I lack the finesse. Could we work something out like an apprenticeship, I want to learn how to control people like you do. I want the fear that engulfs people when the name Prime is used. I need a teacher, I have wondered the nexus for many cycles aimlessly but I now know my purpose. And what I must do, the only problem is I don't think I am quite ready to take on destiny. " Vlad pauses and seems to relax as if he has been waiting to get this off his chest.

Prime listens expressionlessly as the events are recounted, he takes a moment to glance at the sword laid on the desk before him, but returns his gaze at the former Lugosi until he is done speaking.

"I have taken on a few apprentices in my time, some completely chose to use the relationship for their own gain, and so fell to destruction.  Others have respected the relationship, as twisted as it can be, and they did well for as much as that relationship was meant for.  However, I think you are seeking a deeper appreniticeship, to learn the true secrets of power.  If you do chose to follow the path of control, patience, and determination, I will lead you first into chaos and ruination.  If you want to follow the path of assured victory, you must first lean utter defeat.  You may lose yourself totally in this quest, there is little doubt that you will come to hate me in time.  I do not ask for love, or adoration, only that even at the moment of your greatest fury in what I have done to you, you remember to respect the relationship we have entered into, I am your Master until such time we both agree to sever our ties, or you earn the right to stand on your own as an equal to me.  Do not think quickly on this, but know I will not even consider taking you on until you have fully realized the mantle you take on, when you have decided, you will tell me five reasons for taking me on as your master, and then give me five reasons why I should take you on as an apprentice.  Consider this your first test, give me anything less then perfection, I will know you are not serious enough to move forward.  I will give you up to five weeks to give me your answer, though I will accept your answer anytime after you have taken at least five hours to think on it, and not an hour sooner."

Vlad looks very serious and than speaks,"I thank you for hearing me out I will return within five weeks with the answers to your question." Vlad puts the sword away and gets up, he begins to leave and on his way out says, "Good evening Master Prime."
