The Cove

[Ty Verrat]

Ty steps into the Cove, and walks to the door to Bron's office. Opening it, he steps inside, closing it behind him.

The door of Bron's office opens again, and Ty walks out. He is now wearing a perfectly pressed Hit Squad uniform, and a blaster is holstered on his belt. Carefully, he notes who is present in the Cove, and places a new sign on the door to Bron's office. He turns on his heel, and once more goes inside the office, closing the door behind him.

"Ty's Office."

The bar is empty.  No one there for about a couple of months now.

†  The swinging doors of the Cove part as Sebastian Kirsch enters.  His eyes scan the empty bar, catching sight of the change on the office door.  He shakes his head and turns to leave.  Once outside he lets out a deep sigh and rests his elbows on a docking post, looking out on the vastness of the open sea.

†  The hunter slides a drinking flask from his boot, uscrewing the cap and taking a pull.  He returns the container to its hiding place and stands, taking one last look at the open seas.  Turning back to the dock, he walks into the distance, te finally find some needed rest at home ... after all, there seems to be nothing of interest going on at the moment.

Mack will enter the quiet Cove. Seeing the sign on the door proclaiming Ty to be the new office inhabitant, he will go over and knock at the door hoping to see his longtime friend again.

As he knocks, the sign falls off the door, and drops to the floor.

Not hearing a response Mack will pick up the sign off the floor then slowly open the door to the office saying "Hey Ty, ... You in there?"

He's not in there, Mack.  ::When/if Mack turns around he sees Bron laying sideways on the bar smoking a cig::.  Was the first thing I looked into when I saw the sign.  Someone's idea of a poor joke.  ::Bron deftly moves the cig over with his lips to exhale some smoke::.  What brings you here?

"There was a serious cluster going on at Sanctuary. I needed a drink. I have not had anything since starting training in this thing" He motions to the lightsaber at his hip. "I swear I will never get used to the oddness of this place. When I came in and saw the sign, I was hoping to see my old friend again. In my world he and Hyran disappeared almost 10 years ago. I have been hoping to see him since Hyran told me he was here." Mack hands the sign to Bron. "When did you come in? I did not hear you. It is good to see you though. I did not know you smoked."

Well, lemme let Bobby know he has a customer.  I got used to this place some time ago but I can still be surprised.  ::sigh::   I used to like surprises too.  I saw the sign and it would have been nice for Ty to be back but, alas.  I know who you are, Mack.  Have spent many a time at a table talking about the crew of the Valetka.  Ty disappeared from here as well.  ::Bron smiles::  If I don't want to be heard, I won't be.  I don't smoke often, just once in a while.  ::Bobby walks out from behind a curtain behind the bar::.   Hello, what can I get you?

"Something strong is fine, though i do wish to walk afterwards." He says to Bobby. "The Valetka had a great crew, Ty was our leader. He was headstrong and impulsive, but that's where Hyran came in. He was our conscience in a way. I was the muscle. I also was the one who stood beside my shipmates no matter what. Even death could not keep me from being there for them. We had another member but he moved on after Ty and Hyran disappeared. I miss Ty. I had to take over the company, which had grown considerably thanks in part to your unlimited cred stick you no longer needed after you died, and the money we tricked the Dark Jedi out of. We rivaled the Hutts before I came here. Now I work for you. Soon I will be able to enforce your will as I did Ty's."

Sure. ::Bobby replies::  ::Bron shakes his head and a grin comes across his face.  He snuffs out the cig and deposits it behind the bar::  Yeah, I know how headstrong and impulsive he could be.  ::Bobby walks over with two brandy snifters and a green bottle::.  ::Bron stares at the bottle behind his new shades::.  Oh, this stuff.  You'll like it, Mack.  It's tasty and gives a kick in the pants akin to a stun bolt.  To Ty.  ::With a smile, he takes in a large swig and let's it rest in his mouth a couple of seonds longer than it should and then he swallows::. Aahhh!  Oh, you remember that credstick.  I loved that thing.  As you can see Mack, I didn't die.  Although I have come close to it on occasion.  Speaking of which, I noticed the council didn't seem all too pleased at me still being around.  Cody, what a lil bitch she's turning out to be.  Trying to start up a "rogue" council like I did.  HAHAHAHA!  What the hell is she thinking?!  Worst thing about it, she got the most unhelpful groups to follow her.  House Useless being one of them.  One thing that's sticking in my craw is this damned wolf that swallowed me up for what my chronometer says, about 6 weeks.  Something's gotta be done about that.

Through the saloon type doors Tommy Vercetti saunters in. He looks up and sees Bron and Mack, then waves. "Hey how the frick are yous guys." He then grabs a chair sits next to them ,"Ay oh bobster i need a brewski and a cotch on the rocks"

Mack takes the drink and toasts Ty, then listens as Bron lays out the current problem. "There was something big going on over at the Beacon just before the gathering started. I was sure something was going to happen, but then someone suggested coming back after the gathering and everyone dispersed. Then we had that Council meeting. Yes, Cody should not talk to you that way. She simply needs a lesson in manners, however according to the bylaws which were just posted, it is not that hard to remove someone with a vote of no confidence. Of course if she was simply whacked just before every council meeting that would solve things too. Same thing for Idiot boy of House Useless." Enter Tommy V.
"Hey, what's up," ... "By the way Bron you were right, this stuff is good, what is it?"
