**  Yeah, finally got to the final section:

Page 27 (Combat Instability):  could this power be made an area effect?  As it is it's kind of weak, since it even affects the user

Page 28 (Darkness): ditto. In general, area of effect is better than 'everything you can see', especially when we're doing group roleplays with GMs (what, the entire countryside for miles around is enshrouded in darkness?)

Page 29 (Physical Projectile):  In the grand scheme of things, this power is pretty useless.  With the improved DRs we're looking at this power will never get past even low level characters' defenses.  I'd say either allow it to be combined with a skill OR give it a multiplier like Power Punch (which CAN be stacked with a skill)

Page 29 (Toxic Cloud/Storm):  To differentiate this from the Elemental attacks, and to categorize poisons, I'd like to see a new attribute on the reference chart on page 9 - Toxic [T]

Page 31 (Laser Targeting):  Unless the character using this skill is using a non-tech weapon it's really underpowered (5 EM for 1 DR) as opposed to using even an Electromag weapon (1 EM for 1 DR).  At the very least make it equivalent to a Photonic weapon (1 EM for 2 DR)

Shadow form ( and similar powers) state that you can't be a target and can not take a physical action. doe that mean whille in such a form you would be capable of making mental attacks but not have to worry about defending against any? thats cool

That is correct.  You may take mental actions while in Shadow Form.

You are also subject to any attacks that do not specifically target people such as area effect.

Ok new thing that im bringing up to everyones attention because if it reads as i perceive it, it becones uber wicked crazy and im takeing the next chance i get.

Page 31

Nano-Magnetism (NF,S). Cost: 25 AP. EM Requirement: 15. Requires Fusion
Adaptation. An Avatar with this Power is able to attract ANY single Item
right from the possession of other Avatars, even in the middle of combat.

In order to initiate this Action, the user must declare the Item he is trying
to attract, and it must be an Item which is in the Avatar’s Ready Pouch. To
determine the effect of this Power, the calculation is as follows: (2 AC Pick
+ EM). If the result is greater than the target’s STR, then the Item immediately
flies through the air and into possession of the user, who can add it
immediately to his Ready Pouch (whichever slot(s) the new Item requires
must be emptied in the same Action - so this Power grants a free Item Swap
as well). The range for this Power is line of sight.

So being its Any single item that meens also special items. If i am wrong you may want to make a change to it in the book so theres no further confusion on this matter if not i only have one word ZOMG!

Spirit of the Rule, folks.  The spirit of special items is that they're so tightly bonded that they don't go anywhere without the bonded's permission.  so of course they can't be taken.

There isn't really any confusion to be had.  NO RULE permits a player to take a Special Item.  The rule we're discussing is amended by the nature of Special Items.

It should read like this:

"the power Joe's asking about allows an Avatar to take any item." then the Special Item comes into question and the sentence becomes "except this one totally unstealable class of items."

If we didn't allow rules to amend each other, the book would be seven times as long as it is and way more dense.
