The Role Playing Society of Monmouth County invites one and all to our annual Halloween party on Friday, October 27th.  Admission will be free to everyone.  Refreshments will be available, and we even have a costume contest.  Bring some board games, get a group together and play a one-shot RPG, give Ami's B-Movie RPG a whirl, or just come down to meet the gang.

For the members, I'm starting the potluck list for refreshments here.  I can already hear the uninitiated ask, "Why do you have to keep a list for a pot luck dinner?"  The short story is it involves a lack of communication and an unholy amount of fried chicken.  The episode in question is before my time.  Do you have to be a member to add something to the table?  Heck no, just tell us what your bringing.  The only rules are 1) no alcohol, 2) try not to be too repetitive, and 3) keep in mind you should bring enough for gamers' appetites.  Wink

Since I don't know if he can get here from work...

Dwight is also offering XP for his 7th Sea players for bringing middle eastern dishes.

Eric will be bringing a deli platter.

I know darn well what Brian is bringing, I'm just amused that he keeps having to repeat himself.  Cheesy

Hello, this is Brendiven, a friend of Bill from southern NJ. I have attended some of your LARP's in the past, I would like to attend this event. Should I bring anything to celebrate this occasion, except for myself  Shocked

Something edible, or something drinkable. No alcohol please, we meet in a church.
Just post what you're bringing so we dont have too much duplication.

Dwight
  • Moroccan Lemon Chicken with Olives
  • Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Sadly, it looks like I will be on travel that day, and as these items require preparation time that I will be using taking the train back to NJ, I will need to bring something else. Embarrassed

O, and perhaps more importantly, I have no idea where I am going. Where do I get directions?

Brendiven

If you bring about as much as you could eat, if it was the only thing you ate, you should be OK. So one year I brought several dozen rice balls.

Will any of the GMs in another game give me XP for bringing something Middle Eastern?
