A word on last Friday's game.  When we last left the group, they were about to face an angry Oxolotl, the bat god.  Hiro promptly summoned Tsushima-who got a phone call demanding emergency vengeance against some rainforest clearcutters, and had to leave.  Guido spirited Tsuge away from the coming battle.  However, Veung, Koga, and Yori were ready to face the foe.  With them were their guide, the doctor, and two Amazon warriors.
The bat god began battle by swooping in while using a hypersonic attack.  It wasn't very damaging at first, and our heroes managed to erect defenses.  Unfortunately, it frightened off the Amazons.  Then the bat god took on human form before the group-a beautiful female form.  After a moment of stunned silence, Koga "greeted" the goddess with an unwelcome caress.  He was struck down for his trouble.  The goddess delivered a warning that no man could enter the sacred city without paying blood tribute to their female leader-Lomani.  She also offered advice on curing Lomani's affliction, and provided a component.  She also warned that her worshippers were near and were often overzealous.
The blood sacrifice was paid, and the group entered the pyramid.  At this point the guide began to earn his keep.. He was familiar with many common traps of the pyramid, and worked to disarm them.  Koga was also quite helpful at this, and destroyed several traps.  The group found a chamber devoted to the preparation of worshippers, for priesthood or sacrifice was unclear.  Lomani, since she was a woman(or possessed-also unclear), could not enter the saced baths, although the others did.
In the main chamber, they encountered a priest and eight warriors of the jaguar god, Tezcatlipoca.  They stood before a great obsidian mirror-the subject of their quest!  The priest's staff was also topped by three great jaguar claws, another component in the spell to cure Lomani.  The priest demanded a combat to prove the group's worthiness.  Four of the warriors transformed into great jaguars, while the others wielded twin blades.  Everyone aided in the battle, even the doctor(although he only had a blowgun loaded with petrifying darts).  Veung had prepared well for this battle, having an obsidian laced whip, and an obsidian saw-tooth sword for Koga.  Yori transformed some of the ground into pure obsidian, at cost to himself, to further weaken the opponents.  After much effort on everyone's part, the battle was won!
The priest revealed himself to be the jaguar god himself.  He said he needed to be certain that the group was capable of using his mirror to defeat the demon lord.  He granted it, and his claw staff, to Veung.
Now the group has left the pyramid, and Tsushima and Tsuge have yet to return.

Eric, my retail-addled mind is having trouble recalling the last session.  Embarrassed  I remember Tsuge chatting with a panther, the panther explaining the vampire bat chicks by biting him, and a ritual to clean Lomani's head space.  Can you be more specific?  Any thing to be determined before the next session?

We seem a bit dated - perhaps good Mr. GM would like to summarize our current position in game?
