I've noticed a change with our friendly spammers. It would seem that there are some which are actually responding the confirmation email and thus getting onto the forums and telling us all about the wonderful Britney and Kevin sex videos.

In light of this, we have decided to switch over to approval memberships to try and kick this in the butt. We will keep up on incoming memberships and blowing the rest out of the water denying those who aren't real people.

Just find an abandoned Yahoo!Group.  Anything without an active moderator/owner is quickly overrun with spambots.
