Death is only the beginning

« on: January 30, 2007, 06:16:03 PM »

Ok people I know alot of you had a bunch of issues with the end of last game.  Here is the official Fishevil statement, what happened to you was not a dream in the traditional sense.  The reason I described it to you in such a manner is because tht is how you perceived it.  Whatever happened to you during the game actually happened to you, injuries that were sustained during combats and the like.  Some of you however were "killed" you know who you are and you know those effects were temporary and you know why.  Now whenever i describe things to you and your characters I do it from your persective because when you ask me "Hey Renny, what do I see when that man casts his hex."  Well to a Preacher it screams Devil magic, while to a gunslinger it means only confusion and flashy lights.  Each of you has different perspectives and I try to make that come across when I GM for you.  Now I know some of you are going to have questions for me so here is the topic to do it under.

P. S. Fishdevil Productions will not be helping Gamer's Dream LLC (Drew's Vampire LARP) afer this last Dreamation, so if any of you are dedicated players for that LARP we will no longer have the pleasure of being your GM's and NPC's.

I have to ask, did Hezekiah really die then? Do I have the choice of playing either character?

Are certain items gained during this dreamtime still existant in the "real world" or do they solely exist in the dream?

I have two responses sorry they are so late in coming.  First, yes Hezekiah died quite horribly.  In fact you died the way you were born kicking, screaming, and covered in blood.  Now normally death is not the end in Deadlands as more and more people are finding out, unfortunately when you destroy the brain you destroy the possibility of life after death.

To Chris: Please name the items in question in a private e-mail to either gene or frank, or simply throw me a call on my cell (732-261-4306).  However, I beleive that anything you got in the "dream" state remains real.  Still throw me an e-mail anyway just so we are all n the same page.
