As promised, I'm setting up a topic for suggestions to help us plan future screenings. However, we have a couple of house rules concerning what we WON'T show. Specificially...

1. NO PORN
We may occasionally show something that would get a heavy "R" rating for violence/nudity or is rife with fan service. These invariably fall into the late night schedule. But if you want to see schoogirls molested by creatures with more limbs than your average decidious forest, you're S.O.L. Besides, that's what the internet is for.  Wink

2. NOTHING DISNEY
The last thing Double Exposure needs is legal agony courtesy of The House of the Mouse. Sadly, this includes anything released by Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki under Disney's banner. As much as we would love to show them, it ain't worth the hassle!

Beyond these rules, most of anything is fair game. We try to include a wide variety in our programming (anime, domestic animation, Hong Kong cinema, Saturday morning cartoons, ect...) and will continue to do so as long as we can.

Keep the suggestions coming and we'll see what we can do to accomodate as many as possible.

Till then, be seeing you...

Yes, Science Ninja team Gatchaman, known on US airwaves as Battle of the Planets and G-Force.  Good Gawd I am a geek. Tongue

If your going to be sharing the room with The Cherry Hill Experiment, are you going to a big enough block of time to show a season?  As long as we're talking old school, I'm all for a showing of some of Macross Plus (so I can laugh at Stealth some more) and the ancient Night Flight dubs of "Dynaman".

For Tiny:

Magnos, Alien Destroyer was voted as one of the worst animes in the history of pen and ink. It was so horrible that words actually fail to describe exactly how god-smashingly aborable this piece of sub-tripe is. Actually, I can't even call it sub-tripe, as that would be an insult to any existing sub-tripe.

Magnos was so horrible I think it actually has a permanent spot within the Cherry Hill Experiment, or so I've heard. It includes such wonderful pieces of sub-human insanity as this...

"I must inform our leader, Xerxes Tireiron Dada."

Yup, that's the main villian's name... "Xerxes Tireiron Dada".

They used a giant Robot called Magnos, who used magnetism as its ... whatever the hell it had... and well, it was two vehicles that combined to form the giant mistake of science. Well, since it was "Too Dangerous" to combine with the pilots inside their respective vehicles, the pilots had to LEAVE THE SAFETY OF THEIR VEHICLES and PLUMMET TO THEIR DOOM while the vehicles combined to form Magnos, who would then rob them of the bliss of the grave by catching them and putting them in the cockpit.

Oh, and the best was when they found out Magnos' weakness.... WEAK ANKLES!

So they send a monster yadda yadda firebreath yadda yadda melt ankles. The designer of Magnos says something to the effect of "I knew the robot had bad ankles so... I put in a countermeasure."

Was that countermeasure Stronger Ankles?! NOOOO....

Magnos had a built in wheelchair. I can't make this up. I'm going to go back to my cubicle and drink now. I hope this makes you happy.....

I'd like to request the old Megaman cartoons. Sure, the puns in it were godawful, but its timeless no doubt. Either that or the Super Mario Bros. Super Show with Capt. Lou Albano!

Hehe. I miss those. The old megaman cartoons I think aren't too hard to find... the Mario Bros show... I might have seen maybe one eps out there in space? Would be nice if we can find a collection.

I have the DVD "The Greatest Moments." It has like 8 Mario episodes and 2 bonus Legend of Zelda episodes along with an easter egg with a live portion of one of the eipsodes.

The "Read or Die" OAV would be pretty cool.

I'd love to see some Kare Kano being run, but lots of people don't groove on it the way I do.

Fooly Cooly or Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi would be fun for sheer spoof-i-ness.

I think I found it in Suncoast Video. I doubt their still open so try FYE or something like that they're bound to have it.

Oh and is Princess Mononoke allowed? I know it was done by Miyazaki but is it still under Disney/Studio Ghibli?

To my knowledge, everything that Miyazaki has done for the past twenty years has been under the auspices(sp?) of Studio Ghibli.  Mononoke was released in the states by Miramax, which is an unwanted black sheep subsidary of the House of Mouse™.  Wink
