I'm trying to make a catalogue of places in the Nexus (or directly connected to it such as territories and Domains). The size or current game relevance or ic foot traffic isn't really important to me. If there's a water fountain that exactly one character frequently uses in proper, I'll take it. Homes, and hangouts are cool too. I'd just like to get as complete an accounting as possible.
I'm especially interested in any visual representations people may have of places in the Nexus, but I'd very much appreciate anything you wish to contribute including written descriptions of places or even just names (as if to say-- It's out there somewhere).
As it stands now, I have very little, so anything anyone wishes to contribute would be very valuable and highly appreciated.
Thanks!
Molly

Cardinal Frig'emall is currently building a very small chapel in an open spot in Proper, preferably on a spot where an explosion of some kind has taken place.

The description of Standing Circuit is called a land boob.
If you can find a pic on line of the sand/ salt Silos that spot the land scape of NJ, you will have it. If I come across one Ill post a link here.

I believe that most of the locations that have threads, such as my Magik Grove, and Prime's domain, have descriptions in the very first entry. If you need any more info on either my Grove or on Godotlympus, just let me know. I'm sure other people won't mind being asked for info on their territories or domains either.

Zero's territory is now called Arkhatia. No pictures are available, as the territory is closed except by invitation, and precious few have been invited. (OK, one person has seen some of it uninvited, but Zero doesn't know that!) :-D
Zero Labs also existed in an Avalon territory -- which one changed a couple of times -- but since the last major explosion, it has not been rebuilt.

Sanctuary: A large open grounds. Climate and Season mimics current northeastern US climates. Various structures and features now occupy the landscape.
-The Fruit Grove: A very large fruit grove constructed in concentric rings around a giant old apple tree. The center tree is sits dead between the 500 yard line between the Beacon, and Sanctuary Cathedral. Various fruits and berries grow here, with new varieties appearing every year since its inception. Known fruits include: Cherries, Strawberries, Blueberries, Peaches, Nectarines, and Apples. Stone benches are placed around the central tree for sitting. Nice for picnics, and lazy afternoons.
-The Crafty Monument: Bill would probably be the better one to describe this. But it is stiuated so that it forms a triangle with the points of the the Beacon and the Cathedral's front door.
-Sanctuary Cathedral: A giant gothic cathedral, of toon nature.(Think Disney's Notre Dame Cathedral, from The Hunchback). The sanctum of the cathedral itself contains a great number of pews for sitting upon, golden chandeliers, and clear glass windows. In one of the windows, inscribed into the glass itself, in gold letters is written "I am the Esper, to the Nexus" At the front of the sanctum, where the altar is normally placed, engraved into the floor is a giant circular celtic knotwork. The lines of the knotworkk are near infinite in their detail, existing on multiple layers. Upstairs there is a long hallway of apartments. The one nearest, on the right, at the top of the stairs has a velvet rope placed in front of it. Prayer papers and wards of incredibly strong magic are placed upon the door itself. (For those that would recall, this was the room occupied by Shinjo Lillith, after her infection with the Nemesis virus.) The rest of the doors are identical, except the one at the very end of the hallway. The rooms well furnished and ready for guests at any time. At the end of the hallway itself is a large oaken door. On its face there is a carved celtic knotwork, that mimics the one in the sanctum. Two lines extend from the circle and travel beneath the door itself. Leading from the sanctum, their are doors to other rooms, including the ever stocked kitchen(with its closet full of cookies from around the multiverse, the medical supply room, the training garden, and the cathedral's library. Wraiths, most non corporeal shadowy beings, putter about incessantly in the cathedral's walls. They mostly all speak with some form of british accent. Their sizes voice range in apparent ages from "The Wraithlette", to the "Well Spoken Elder of the Library". Mostly polite, and ever looking to please, they have the temperment of a bottlenose dolphin, aka always looking for the entertainment value. It should be noted that inferring, or outright calling them dead, ghosts, or undead, is a capital offense to them. They also have the trait of never calling anyone by their name, for as they say "Names have power". Rather they prefer descriptions that are tend to be character judgements upon whomever they are speaking to. Examples include: "The Esper", "Apple a Day", "The Duck", "The Hunter", "Lil' Bit", "The Mama", "The Gyspy Bard"(sometimes appended to "The No Singing talent Bard"), "Romeo", etc.
The Beacon: Seperate from the land known as Sanctuary, and a part of Proper itself, The Beacon is a massive pillar of white light extending far into sky. Stones surround the Beacon, and something is always inside the light itself, as nothing may be removed from it, without placing something in. Any other effects of the Beacon are for GM's to disseminate as they see fit.

Sanctuary: The Statue:
A circular dias, about 3 meters in diameter, made of gleaming black marble forms the base for the statue. On the end of the dias closest to the Sanctuary Cathedral, is a small podium, about one meter high, with an angled top. On the top of this is a square silver plate, with an inscription on it.
The statue itself is an eight foot tall rendition of Crafty in the purest Nexal Silver. His right front paw is extended toward the podium, as if offering something.
Closer inspection of the silver plate will show this inscription: "With Faith, All Things Are Possible."*
Anyone greeting the statue with "Hello Crafty," will be rewarded with a cookie that appears in his outstretched paw in a shimmer of transporter sparkles.
*Originally the plate was inscribed with: "Crafty the Celestial Otter. Gone from the Nexus, but never our hearts."
Luckily, the rest of the otters had faith, and so he was able to come back. Cutthroat named his weapon after this faith.

Hyran's Domain is named New Aldaraan, named after his home planet destroyed by the Imperial Death Star. (Not Alderaan - Hyran is not from the movie universe.)
It is sealed to those Avatars that have not been taken there before by Hyran.
(I will post more detail of this domain later.)

San Francisco, late 20th century. The domain of Vince McFly of House Citadel The domain is Open to all avatars who seek protection. Some have found there way there after fleeing a combat- 3 steps from combat and you may see the Golden Gate Bridge. Anyone looking for Vince while he is in his domain will find there way to his domain. At entering they will be approached by an Acolytes who will bring the visitors for an audience if that is there request If they only wish to roam the acolytes will leave them to there own means Upon choosing to to leave the domain passing through any arch will lead a visitor to the center of proper.

† The Falls
The domain of Sebastian Kirsch (not that he even knows he has a domain) is a secluded area easily found in Proper. It if a cliffside waterfall surrounded by coniferous woodlands. By all accounts, it seems a perfectly normal area of Proper.
