Is this game a continuation of the usual Deadlands game, or an independant 1 shot?

This is a one shot game but is in no way independent.  While it is true that you will not be playing your regular characters what happens in the one shot will affect the world as a whole and in turn your regular characters.  The characters will be given out at the game itself so there will be no hectic character update/creation process.  Trust us phil this game will be different than any other game we have ever run but in a good way.  This game will have all the usual excitement, action, intrigue, and overall wackiness that comes with all Fishdevil games.  So no need to fear my loyal Fishdevilists this game will differ from our normally scheduled programming to bring you newer and fresher games that taste like sweet apple pie.
