Hi, Folks!
First, apologies for the lateness of this post. We've been really nuts, and were trying to nail down details before we posted.
Second, it is my pleasure to announce the Nth annual Labor Day Avatar BBQ. (I have no idea how many we're up to and if I stop to check the archives, it might be another month before this gets posted, and what good does THAT do us?) Please join us on Sunday, September 2, 2007 for VinnyBurgers(tm) and all the other trappings that come with a DE BBQ. You know the drill - great company, maybe a poker game, possibly some pickup Settlers... same as last year, but better, 'cause we're all another year wiser.
Please PM me to let me know that you're coming. I'll respond with directions to the house if you need them - we're in White Plains, NY, off I-287.
We ask that you only bring yourself. There's no need to contribute anything other than your shining personality.

People who have good manners and RSVP will receive the reminder email. It will contain good stuff like directions and where to park (eg, not in the driveway). If you don't RSVP, you get booted upside the head and laughed at. And I think someone up here is planning to draw a big pink flamingo on your forhead, too. So don't be a flamingo - RSVP.
NOTE: RSVP EVEN IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE WHO CAN BE "ASSUMED" TO BE GOING! EVEN I RSVP'D!
How to RSVP: click on Avie's name. Click "Send this member a personal message." Write happy things about how excited you are to get VinnyBurgers (tm). Click send. Wait anxiously for Labor Day.

I would love to attend. The question is transportation. Can I get there by public transit from New York City? Jonathan Lobl

Get out at North White Plains. Follow the road uphill to North Broadway and turn right. Then just keep on walkin'. It's on the far side, not far past the Red Cross.
