If you're leaving scorch marks get a bigger gun.

A local game store is interested in hosting a one day gaming event in southern New Jersey sometime in early 2008.  Anyone who would be interested in running a game or attending please let me know here.  Role playing games, board games, CCGs, etc. are the most likely events to run.  This event is going to evolve as we get feedback and can better gauge the kind of participation we can expect.

Pennsauken.  It's owned by the same guy that used to own Legends and Heroes and managed Gamer's Realm South when Legends and Heroes merged with Gamer's Realm.

Sorry it's been so long since I posted an update on this.  This is still in the works but the local game store that is involved is in the process of moving.  This put a temporary halt to the plans since we don't know exactly what the facilities will be like.  I will be seeing the owner in the next week or so and I'll get back here with more details.

Our initial plans were for sometime in March but that could get pushed back to April due to the store move.

If you have any particular dates that would be good or bad let me know.

Also, if you are interested in hosting an event please post or send me a personal message.

We are planning mostly board games and PRGs but if someone wants to run something else I'm sure we can be flexible.

The event will be using space in a local boxing gym so we will have lots of room for lots of people and events.

I'd recommend Late April, as I know of a couple of events in early April.

Late April is looking promising.  The game store, Ye Olde Hobbies Games, is still in limbo.  The new location has some issues that the owner needs to address before the new tenant can move in.  Hopefully in a week we will have a better idea what kind of space will be available and then we can really start locking down the plan.
