Howdy y'all!  Normally here at Fishdevil Productions, i am unaccustomed to using the new-fangled machine labeled com-pute- er, but I figure this is a great way to reach out to all y'all PC's and others who have had the pleasure of seeing us in action.  This past Dreamation 8 was a blast for us (and we are hoping you too) but we want to know how you really feel.  We have introduced a few new LARPS recently and want to know what you think of 'em.  We put our hearts and souls into this (and sometimes our blood or underwear) and we would like to know that we are creating an enjoyable experience for you.  Now we was lookin to make some changes in not only Deadlands but a few of the other LARPS and we want to know what you think we should or could work on to improve our game.  So this is the place to tell us if ya love us or hate us or simply if you wanna jaw a bit about a game or scenario that stood out to you for one reason or another.  Don't feel bad folks if you wanna say somethin mean like "Hey could that Renny guy get a face transplant cuz i am tired of lookin at that sorry mug." or "Jeez that Frank guy looks like he walked right outta the Canadian mountains, ever hear of a razor?"  or if you are feelin particularly ornery "Them Fishdevils couldn't run a game worth a damn, they would have a better time tryin to fight off a grizzly with a toothbrush."  So this is it folks let 'er rip and give us all that wonderful feedback that you know you wanna.

P. S. - If anyone from Dreamation '08 has anything of theirs that is unclaimed property and somehow ended up with your stuff please let us know as we are missing some of our own thangs.

P. P. S.  If anyone has a way to contact the lady who was doin all the interviews about LARPing could you please send it our way because I never got a chance to talk to her (funny that)

"There's a Fishdevil, well sheoot". I personally enjoyed the LARPS. There is a reason I skip sleep to attend the Fishdevil stuff. I always enjoy seeing how my characters can develop given the proper chances. Mostly I like how the Lousy no good *&(%$ers that run this stuff let you go and only reign you in if you go way too far. I look forward to Fishcon or whatever.

Well thank you Mark and we do appreciate your loss of sleep for our little sanity robbing fun fest.  As we have said before you keep coming we keep running.  But even you Mark a relatively new but rather strong influence on the game is there any critique that you could give to improve the game.

Alright... well, you guys already see me at the con a lot, because I mostly come specifically to hang out with you guys and play in your games. I'm a big Fish Devil fan and I've enjoyed your games... I was a bit bummed that I only got to play in the Deadlands game, but that's only because I was too late for L5R and Concrete Jungle got cancelled. You guys always run excellent games and I can't wait for you guys to run again.

Alright... that's enough asskissing... time for some negatives. First off is generic orginization, I know that a lot of it is not your fault... getting a laptop stolen with a bunch of your stuff on it really really sucks, I was kinda hoping things might have gotten straightened out a bit more since last con, but there was a lot last minute updating and stuff and the game didn't start until way late. You guys have stepped it up on the orginization stuff, but I'd like to see it stepped up a bit more. I know you guys do the Thursday night updating... but most people can't be there on Thursday night.

Renny, I think you brought this up yourself at the last game, and I completely agree... there needs to be more props for the generic setting on the game. You guys do a good job for what you've got, but actually getting your hands on something to hang up for walls instead of a line of chairs to block out an area, would be excellent. (Especially since people take apart the walls so they can have a place to sit.) Getting some props to really give the place a genuine setting would be awesome.

Last, you guys need some type of website... a place for inbetween game actions that has a way of contacting different gms. Now I've gotten to run some fun scenes with Frank over IM in the past, especially to handle inbetween game actions, but it would be excellent if you had your own website and forum. Also it would help with noting well known players and important NPCs.

I do agree that it would be better if things could be better done between cons. Scenes can be run IC here, and even character updates can be done between cons. One thing that may help is to give a brief reminder about a month before the con telling what has happened in the last session, and possibly general things that happen in between.

Well I gotta say, 95% of why I show up to these cons is for Fishdevil(welll not shit!) stuff.  I really enjoy the Deadlands game and its been a blast.  I always enjoy learning a new game and system.  L5R has always been a favorit of mine as well so its a ton of fun to LARP it out.  All in all I think you guys run a fairly tight ship, my main suggestion would be to try and keep us interested in the down time between cons, maybe do more stuff on these forums? iunno try stuff and we will run with it

You guys run some damn fine LARPs, the only complaints I have have already been stated above (organization at the start of games, in between game actions, etc).

Also, include more raptors next time.

i enjoy dead lands alot, but i would like some way for inbetween stuff, i would have no problem getting in touch and lettin ya know what my simple character is doing between cons...

P.S. i went a little over kill shooting the mur... i mean reanimated fish devil
