New Aldaraan: Post Dreamation '08

Roughly ten minutes after beaming out of the Cove, a shimmer of transporter sparkles deposit the Lightfoot crew at the entrance of New Aldaraan. Surrounded by a forest of coniferous trees that rival redwoods in size, the four stand in a clearing carpeted by fallen tree needles.

The clearing is about 300 feet across, in a roughly circular shape. In the center of the clearing, is a square stone table, surrounded by 4 stone benches. The table is big enough to seat 6 humans per side easily.

The surrounding forest is virtually clear of all undergrowth, and likewise blanketed by a thick layer of tree needles.

Upon entering, all mental effects of the ghost rock are gone from the Avatars, though some more than others are still covered in the dust, now ordinary coal dust...

Shamus looks around as he pulls off his breathing apparatus and takes a deep breath of air.

From the position of the sun, it is around mid-day. The forest appears dark, almost gloomy around the well lit clearing. However, birds can occasionally be heard high above in the branches, and they don't seem terribly upset about anything...

Wow, the voices there gone what a relife. I didn't think that stuff could be that terrible, i guess the more you breath like any drug the stronger it is. We gotta find a way to nulify it? Im guessing its the area that cleansed us. Is there anyway for us to reproduce the same Anti-pathogen and spread it to the other places neutrelizing the virus? Excuse me one second i just hurt myself where did that come from, i guess the clean air really helped out. I've always heard in insanity you will find knowledge.

Tommy appears a bit more real than normal. He speaks,"So yuou got any death sticks? Cause I got a hankerin for'em"

Hyran looks around. "Welcome to New Aldaraan. This is the only place from which you can access the Nexus, save by dieing. If you die here, you can't come back. We have a bit of a walk, or we can wait here for the shuttle that is on its way."

Turning directly to face the other Avatars, he continues. "Anti-pathogens won't work, it is more like a curse than a virus. Perhaps a wide scale blessing over the entirety of the Nexus, but I think it would need to come from the mythos that created the curse. And no Tommy, there are no death sticks here. I think we can fix the addiction you have for them though."

"Peace here is kept by Jedi Knights, and by..."

Hyran winces slightly, before continueing, "by the Badgers of Reckoning. Please don't ask why."

[Mack Ravensline]

Mack shakes off the last of the effects that have been plaguing him. "By the force that was intense! Thank You Hyran, I am still worried for Andromache and the children however. Is there any way from here that I can find out if they are OK? If not I will have to find a way to brave that curse again to make sure, hopefully without losing my mind again."

"Does she have a communicator in Xenia that we can reach her with? Or a portable unit she carries?"

Shamus starts to get a little uneasy when Hyran says that Jedi's keep the peace

"Hyran since this is your domain we are protected so say if the Jedi's want to wipe out your people or i should say already did. Eh nevermind they can't possibly know who i was."

"Good lets start with the debachery and then figure out this silly problem." Tommy will either walk or wait depending on what everyone else does

"Does she have a communicator in Xenia that we can reach her with? Or a portable unit she carries?"

I am not sure, I know she had the Dephic Link, but since our personal link faded I am unsure how to reach her. I used to just be able to go there when I wanted to. I am afraid she will think I have abandoned her during this time. I have to find a way to reach her.

Shamus looks over to Mack

"Mack shes a Mother of 2 kids and used to be Head Counciler for the entire Nexus. True, i meen no offence to your lady and all but she didn't seem to do a good job, but i belive it was personal matters that hindered her from performing. Just relax there sir she will be fine shes a grown women if she can't take care of herself, and if she couldn't i wouldn't trust her to be a mother either. Trust me just cause the link is down doesn't meen she couldn't get word to you some how. I know your gonna say well i dont know if she wants to or oh what if she can't cause she's hurt. Well let her have some time to think im sure right now she's with a group of people trying to figure out whats going on. So for right now just be there in spirit not in body."

Shamus points to his heart and then to his head as he speaks this next line.

If you have her here and here thats all that matters. Think we have all the time in the multiverse but if you don't help us now solveing this problem you, me, none of us will be around. And then what?

If she is exposed to this Ghostrock I fear for her and the girls. I should be there for her. All of the sudden Mack remembers something. From his pack Mack pulls a radio. "To anyone with a radio, has anyone seen Andromache and know if she is OK?"

Are you talking about Cody? Cause she didn't just lose her we all did, but if my memory serves me correct she should be back around soon. Mack even you said shes strong and capable. I understand you are worried about your love and you should be, but if you try to be a crutch where one isn't needed that will only hinder the person even more and they may just want to through the crutch out.
