New Aldaraan: Post Dreamation '08

As Bron and Sigma beam in, the medical team goes to work, giving Sigma a sedative which knocks him out almost instantly...

When he awakens, about ten minutes later, his injury is bandaged in a light blue plastic-like wrapping, but there is no pain at all. One of the medics is scanning him with a small, pen sized wand, while consulting a handheld screen. "You appear to be fully recovered. It looked like a landing strut fell on you, and you have no sign of injury now. I'm giving you an all clear from here."

"Where the hell am I?"

"New Aldaraan. Domain of Hyran Starseeker. Have you ever been here before?"

[SigmaCaine]

He ignores the question of the medic. "Is Sebastian here?"

[wcshoe]

Hyran steps through the trees, in time to hear the question. "No, unless he came here under his own power. According to Mack, Fox shot down my ship. Granted, it was only an unarmed shuttle, and he is just an idiot Ares, but that isn't something I am happy with. So this time, we will be taking a K'talla class fighter/bomber. You want to come along for the ride, or do you plan on striking out on your own?"

As he speaks, a pair of ships move soundlessly through the sky, slowing to a stop and then descending into the clearing. Each is alien enough to scream "not built by human hands," but weapons are easy enough to identify. On the side of the one landing nearest to Sigma, he can see a painting of a scantily clad alien female, holding a plasma cannon in one hand, and a mug in the other.

[SigmaCaine]

"Right, because the best way to deal with someone who's paranoid and delusional is to send a bunch of armed aircraft after him like you're hunting an animal. That's why I went to approach him on my own first." Sigma pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs. "Good luck with your air raid. I think I"ll go to Sanctuary instead."

"No, these aircraft are the best way to deal with somebody that has already demonstrated the fact that they are willing to shoot down obviously unarmed and defenseless aircraft. One is going out, the other is staying here in case he decides to come visiting. But, good luck in Sanctuary, and tell Seneca I'm sorry I couldn't stay."

Hyran climbs into an open hatch on the side of the craft, and less than a minute later, takes off...

Mack helps fly the ship into New Aldaraan over to the landing area and goes about landing.

Shamus finnally stops ranting and begins to prep the life pod Hyran is in for movement and starts to move it to the back of the ship.

Mack finishes landing the ship and opens the hatch. He then moves to the back of the ship to help Shamus offload Hyran for medical attention.

As Mack and Shamus begin to cart Hyran out Shamus pulls from his pocket a remote, presses the button and puts it back in his pocket.

*Shamus Yells* "Med team get hell over here we have injured, Hyran isn't wakeing up no matter our attemps to do so."

OOC: The pod, while it can be left in place while used as a hibernation chanber, is not designed to be removed from the ship other than through ejection. You can stop the hibernation process (it had barely started) and remove Hyran if you choose...

This is what will happen, once Hyran is freed from the pod, Mack will carry him to where the medics are, or are supposed to be.

IC: Shamus steps off from the vessel pulling a remote out pressing the button and putting it back in his pocket.

Once they step off the ship, the medics act as though the Avatars just appeared out of nothingness. Startled, but still responding to their training, they immediately indicate a stretcher and help Mack lower Hyran to it. One begins checking vital signs, and another begins questioning mack. "Was he exposed to biological agents? Trauma? Psionic attack?"

Meanwhile, the badgers level weapons at the area the ship set down in, though it is unable to be seen. If any of the recently disembarked Avatars look back, they can see the ship is not there at all...
