'Bottom of the Box' - Avatar Event Announcement!

The next Avatar event will be called "Bottom of the Box" and it will be 100% journey.  You MUST RSVP for this event, as we will be writing characters for you to pick up at the door.  Call it a one-shot LARP that ties into your character's history and the current state of the Nexus, if you will.  There will be an OFFICAL PUBLIC thread for you to RSVP to. Please post to that thread promptly to ensure that you have a character waiting for you at the event.

As for hotels, we're always welcome at the East Brunswick Hilton. If we don't find another hotel that we'd like to give a try, we'll be going home to the East Brunswick Hilton.

Hopefully in the next day we will have the official 'Bottom of the Box' page up with an event description. We will also be posting fliers about the event in local game stores, including Neutral Ground in NYC.

That’s all we know so far folks. Avie, Vinny and I are really very excited to be writing this one shot – we think everyone will have a really great time!

*EDIT* - HAHA! How clever of you to sneakily conceal the date of the Con in the Events section of the main DE website!  You know we never think to look there; but I have foiled your nefarious scheme by looking precisely in that location and have obtained the information you wanted to keep from us.

BEHOLD! April 11 - 13, 2008 is the date of BotB!  And since this is not the same weekend as April 25 - 27, 2008 I shall fully throw in my confirmation of "I'm in!"

Unless of course you wanted me to look there and put false information in as a red herring!  Darn you!  Unless you thought I would think that it was a red herring and would dismiss it immediately upon coming to such a conclusion so you put the real information there to throw me off!  Unless you knew I would think it was a false lead and then realize it was the correct information and so put false information there which I would know is false so its really true, but it may be truly false  or falsely true or falsely false making it truly true but you would know that I knew that you knew that I know....

Alas, that's the weekend EVERYONE's trying to get me.  If I went, I'd probably have to go back to the city for Sat. evening, which would likely make it not worthwhile for me.

That sunday is also Ann's birthday, which I believe she'll actually be home for; although she'll be really busy with her sister's bachelorette party. What this all means is, depending on how busy she is I may or may not be able to make it.
