And I think that one of the things that you are missing is that you are thinking only physical attacks...

Lets say you are in combat with several individuals, and (pulling the first alphabetical power out of the list) one decides to bless their troops...only you warp reality to make it decrease their OR instead of increasing it...(on to the second alphabetical power)...they are pissed at you and try to blind you to even things off...Wait! what's that?  You warp reality to cause the blindness to increase your OR instead of decreasing it....

...or have I said too much.

(All this is based on the premise that I have correctly interpreted the rules-correct me if I'm wrong)
