From the BemaniStyle homepage:

Quote
Kotaku over the weekend got their hands on some copies of the next Guitar Hero game, and were kind enough to not only post some screenshots of each version, but also reveal a partial songlist for the game, including the lists for five of the venues featured in the game (All of them notable locations in Aerosmith's career):

Nipmuc High School
All The Young Dudes - Mott the Hoople*
Dream Police - Cheap Trick
Make It - Aerosmith
Uncle Salty - Aerosmith
Draw the Line - Aerosmith

Max's Kansas City
I Hate Myself For Loving You - Joan Jett
All day and all of the night - The Kinks*
Movin' Out - Aerosmith
No Surprise - Aerosmith
Sweet Emotion - Aerosmith

The Orpheum Theater
Complete Control - The Clash
Personality Crisis - New York Dolls*
Livin' On The Edge - Aerosmith
Ragdoll - Aerosmith
Love in an Elevator - Aerosmith

Half Time Show
Always On The Run - Lenny Kravitz
Hard to Handle - Black Crowes*
Back In The Saddle - Aerosmith
Beyond Beautiful - Aerosmith
Dream On - Aerosmith

Moscow
She Sells Sanctuary - The Cult
King of Rock - Run DMC
Bright Light Fright - Aerosmith
Nobody's Fault - Aerosmith
Walk This Way - Run DMC featuring Aerosmith

* - Cover Version

The game, which will feature 41 songs, will consist primarily of Aerosmith songs (thus the title, obviously) but also feature songs by 'opening acts,' which will comprise about 40% of the songlist, by Kotaku's observation. The game will release on June 29th of this year.

Also hot on the heels of this release is the discovery that Activision has filed for the release of Guitar Hero: Metallica by March of 2009 with the SEC. More on that can be read about here:

Hehe its possible Tongue

I usually have three lurking spots for GH info. BemaniStyle, the Guitar Hero forums on Myspace (which most stuff I can't really take as truth because they're all idiots who are like GH4 info!" and inside "What would your GH4 setlist be?!"), and occasionally ScoreHero (but I'm a bit lax on going there as of late). Usually check up on these sites whenever I'm bored or in a long flight in WoW.
