Ω - across the surface of the waters that stretch across Nexus Proper appears a small sloop - its hull is painted black, giving the vessela sleek appearance, while its two main sails are dyed a rust red.

In an instant Vlad Grimme appears standing on the main deck of the ship.

Ω - As Vlad appears on the deck two nearby figures react by drawing swords, one is a large bugbear with reddish brown fur, the other a grizzled-looking hobgoblin.  From the nearby rigging Vlad can hear a smooth voice, "ye'll want to be careful how ye approach ... unannounced guests rarely arrive with good intentions, and the crew tends to react accordingly." If the former Lugosi were to look upward he'll find a slender male elf with shoulder-length hair scrutinizing him in a casual manner.

Vlad merely adjusts his hat. From beneath hats brim the Helvetians lips curl into a smile. His hands move slowly and deliberatly revealing all of Vlad's weapons to be sheathed. "My intentions are good, I was lookng for the Captain. I am sure if violence were to occur it would of occured already." Vlad adjusts his stance readying himself for any attackers.

Ω - ooc: finally!

Vlad merely adjusts his hat. From beneath hats brim the Helvetians lips curl into a smile. His hands move slowly and deliberatly revealing all of Vlad's weapons to be sheathed. "My intentions are good, I was lookng for the Captain. I am sure if violence were to occur it would of occured already." Vlad adjusts his stance readying himself for any attackers.

Ω - "Yer wise enough to know that much ... what do ye want with the likes of us, stranger?" A tall lanky man steps forward, somewhat overdressed compared to the others aboard the ship.  His thick moustache flows into muttonchops and he walks with a swagger.

    From a nearby boom comes a familiar silky voice, "perhaps he simply got himself lost on the way to court ... such things do happen, no Captain Damien?"  Should Vlad look over his shoulder he'd spy Valeria in the same sexy swashbuckler outfit he left her in when they were aboard Hyran's shuttle.

Vlad continues his nonchalant smirk and speaks," Perhaps I did lose my way, but that is the long drawn out story of my life. I was merely out her trying to enjoy the fresh sea air and the company of an old friend. If this is okay with you Captain Damien?" Vlad tips his hat to well dressed man.

Ω - the captain scowls as his gaze alternates between Vlad and Val before speaking again, "alright, Raven, he's your responsibility .... keep in mind I don't care for sorcery on my ship."

    The Lilith slithers down the rigging with ease and winks, "aye captain!"

The ship rocks suddenly, and the sailor in the crow's nest (if there is one up there) yells down. "Captain! There's something in the water...something big!"

A fountain of water erupts off the side of the boat and a large blue/green scaled head breaks the surface and rises even with the deck of the ship. Judging from the size of the head and the width of the attached neck the sea serpent must be around 90 feet long. Its nostrils flare and it exhales, sending clouds of mist into the air. The eyes open and survey whatever activity occurs on the deck for a momen t before turning to Vlad and Val. The two avatars find something familiar in the beast's eyes, which have irises that shine a brilliant golden color. They could almost swear the sides of the serpent's mouth turn upward in a smile before it speaks in a voice they know right away.

"No sorcery on the ship huh? How about right off the side of it?" It frills the scales in its neck and from a little pocket underneath one of the shield-sized plates scrambles a hamster, who climbs up to perch on top of the sea dragon's head and shakes the water from its fur.

ooc - hey, don't put words in my NPCs' mouths

Ω - A pale-skinned human with various markings inked into his bare upper torso, leans over the crow's nest, "cap'n ... uninvited guest, underbelly!"  As the ship lurches most of the crew is thrown along the deck.  Even Valeria finds herself hurled from her perch, though she lands gracefully.

The eyes open and survey whatever activity occurs on the deck for a momen t before turning to Vlad and Val. The two avatars find something familiar in the beast's eyes, which have irises that shine a brilliant golden color.

Ω - Valeria mutters under her breath, "Tannish, you idiot"

They could almost swear the sides of the serpent's mouth turn upward in a smile before it speaks in a voice they know right away. "No sorc ..."

Ω - Before the "creature" can finish its sentence it is greeted with a barrage of cannon fire (offensive DR: 74)

Vlad's eyes glow and his voice can be heard over all the noise of the cannons. He lets out a commanding yell,"Everyone stop!!" (OOC Voice of Reason)
Blood leaks out of Vlad's eye patch forming into a beautiful blood lady who resembles Lilith.

Ω - The Lilith simply sighs and rolls her eyes

Blood leaks out of Vlad's eye patch forming into a beautiful blood lady who resembles Lilith.

Ω - A scowl suddenly crosses Valeria's face, "Vladimere? Why is my mother leaking from your eye?"

The sea dragon flinches back as the cannons fire and the hamster huddles in a poor sodden ball of fur on top of its head. When he doesn't feel any impacts Stran slowly opens his eyes and peers at the ship and its cannons warily.

"This isn't the strongest of my forms by any means, that could have hurt. Despite our past, thank you Vlad."

He turns to Valeria and the captain, "permission to come aboard, of course in a more suitable form?"

The Godot pulls back from the ship a few yards as he waits, and hopes, for Val to give the captain the okay to trust him...at least as far as she can throw him.

Ω - "What!?" Bellows the captain, "another one of your acquaintances, Raven?  As soon as we hit a harbor ye're off my ship!"

Ω - Valeria glares back at the sea turtle, "I apologize cap'n Damien ... some of my friends are a bit ... unusual.  He's safe, trust me."

    The captain is about to give her his response, peppered with a series of expletives only a seasoned sailor could muster, but suddenly he relaxes and turns on his heel, muttering something about women, ships, and the olden days.  he stops short, before a large woman whose girth could give any seasoned warrior a run for his money, and states flatly, "you weren't included in that statement Realta"  She scoffs and steps aside as the captain continues to stomp into his quarters.

    The Lilith sighs, hands on her hips, and without looking behind her says, "well Tannish, if you''re coming aboard I'd do it now."

((OOC- Sea Turtle?! I'm insulted!  ))

The large serpent nods its head and its entire body rises out of the sea, wings unfurling from its coiled flanks. It hovers in the air for a moment, waiting for the water to finish pouring from its scales, then the whole length of it begins to shimmer with magical power and collapse in on itself, the rapidly shrinking form descending to the deck. When the light fades Stran Tannish stands there wearing his common white robe, the hamster perched on his shoulder.

"I was merely experimenting with my different forms, as I feel I have not used all that are available to me yet. I was swimming a couple fathoms down and heard voices above me. The water distorts sound, even to one with draconic senses, so I couldn't tell who it was; and I decided to come take a look."

He smiles broadly at the other two avatars, the perfect picture of geniality.

Ω - A scowl suddenly crosses Valeria's face, "Vladimere? Why is my mother leaking from your eye?"

Vlad smiles again and speaks,"It is a mix of repentance for her sins of the past and I was experimenting with blood magic, she took a fancy a decided to help me. Her will is quite strong."
