Alex paces back and forth in his newly aquired factory, thinking, wondering, stirring. He then stops, looks up, then begins to pace and speak.
"What is the nexus... Thats a silly question... I mean the nexus is everything right, but nothing can be everything and anything, their has to be a definitive answer... or maybe thats what the nexus is, a definitive answer, an answer to a question that has plauged all worlds, an answer that has eluded even the most expansive of minds. So if the nexus is the answer, the what is the question... Of course Alex how could you be so stupid, the figure out an answer to a question you don't even know. Alright Detective, think, do the one thing you've never had to do before... what what is it, what is the question that the nexus answers... where to begin... to begin... thats it... Maybe the Nexus is the answer to the Begining. No one ever really knows what the begining is, maybe it the nexus... but why is this place the begining..."
he pounders...
"Of course, this place in the begining, because it is the begining!"
he steps over to a chalk board and begins to draw many lines
"Now some say the Nexus is the end... the end of all things... but that can't be true because then one could never move foward, and we are constantly moving foward. But what about the middle, you can move foward from the middle. Yes but we can't take back the things we've done, and in an place of infinite if you should be able to go back... But what about Tibalt... no, cause tibalt did go back and change the past, tibalt when back to begin the past... the begining of the begining. Alright... then explain why seneca keeps saying nothing we do matters... Because it doesn't. You can't change the Nexus as a whole... not with out controll of the nexus... but if you can't change the nexus as a whole what does the nexus begin..."
he draws the lines into one connecting point
"The rest of the multiverse.... nothing we do matters because all that matters is what we do... our every action creates the worlds that we come from not the nexus... or major choices form the very foundation of the multiple universes from which we come from... thats why their can be two people from unvierses simular to each other but completely diffrent, because each person defines the begining of their universe, their experiances come from them selves... yes that makes perfect sense, we create our universe which then influences our actions in our universe which brings us back to the nexus to create the influences for our universe... it a cycle of infinite possibilities... but that would mean this is wrong..."
Alex begins to draw spirals within spirals with in spirals, all with one begining point. he then draws a perfect circle around the drawn spiral of spirals
"The multiverse isn't a set of straight lines that touch each other... it's an infinate spiral of spirals with a single center point... the nexus... yes, that must be it... or is it... I don't know... need more candy..."
he writes one thing on the board and then walks away
"If what we do doesn't matter, then all that matters is what we do"
(If anyone wants to comment on my latest rant... DO... I crave attention... and candy)
(Oh and the Chocolate Factory is open to everyone Alex likes, you know who you are)
