Hey Gang:

I found out about QuestCon at the Spring Gathering.  I've signed up to run
Liar's Dice, Triple Yahtzee, Jinx (a dice game) Man Bites Dog (a card game
where you try to make news headlines) and a few others.  This will be my
debut as a GM at a Con, unless I sign up to run games at Southern Exposure.
After the spring Gathering and Dexcon, it's nice to knoe I'm not the only one
with a couple of screws loose.  Looking forward to seeing Tiny and anyone
else from Double Exposure there.

Questcon was a nice fledgling weekend con, anyone else considering doing to check it out?  If so we should definitely have a DE game of some sort there.

 Wink OK People:

The questconvention.com website has posted some of the tournaments that will be
taking place for board games, CCGs, RPGs and others.  They should be publishing a
complete schedule shortly.  Looks like this con has grown tremendously from last year.
They're also having Poker and Soduku tourneys and reps from Steve Jackson games.
It should be a rockin' weekend in Ronkonkoma for gamers.

Between Tim's (Ty Verrat) wedding and LugosiCon, I already have 2 weekends off in October. I don't think I can get a third one...

Huh Has anybody heard anything regarding hotel rates for the convention?  As of 9/21/06
the www.questconvention.com website has nothing, and this con is less than a month
away.  I sent an e-mail about two weeks ago that was never answered. I'm scheduled
to run games at Questcon.  Ubercon is the weekend after, and they've had their hotel
and schedule info posted for some time now.  Makes me wonder what I'm getting
myself into.  I hope they post something soon.
