I'm that LSJ guy!

Hello to all.  Many of you know me already, and if you don't, no harm, no foul.  I'm Andrew Hauptman, and I'm one of many people who bring you Legends of the Shining Jewel events.  Our campaign is a 3.5 d20-based series of tournaments that preserves the best elements of the old Living City campaign while forging ahead into new territory.  Vinny and the Dexposure series of conventions has hosted us since our infancy, and we are happy to continue brining you games for your enjoyment.

While I do not plan to attend Southern Exposure, we are providing three new LSJ events, two of them from Gencon 2005, the other a new event that might be previewed at Gencon if time allows.  Blurbs for the events are below.  For more information about the campaign, point your web browser to http://ucc-online.com/lsj/.

The events are:

"Fool's Gold" by David P. Santana.  The Annual Regatta is announced, a Marathon race to Fool’s Point, an island a day’s race from Amthydor’s Port. Several prominent individuals of the city are financing or racing ships themselves. One day’s race to Fool’s Point, then a day back. Fastest time wins! But what happens when the race becomes a terror trap? Can the PCs defeat the enemy and win the race?  For heroes of levels 2-7.  One round.

"Until Proven Innocent" by Catie Straiton.  Part I of the 'Blind Justice' series. One of Amthydor’s finest has been accused of crimes most heinous and severe, and he needs the help of the heroes to prove his innocence.   When a man’s life hangs in the balance, can you uncover the truth?  For heroes of levels 2-7.  One round.  Note: This event places a heavy emphasis on role-playing, and may reference mature content.

"Sour Grapes" by Shamba Warlick and Brian Buxton.  A local wine vineyard of substantial influence has fallen on inexplicably hard times.  The owner seems intent on keeping his reputation intact and his closet doors shut.  Can the heroes uncover the cause of the blight and resolve things while maintaining the discretion their employer requires?  For heroes of levels 2-7.  One round.

Cool.
Just wanted to make my first post, now that I figured out how to work this forum.

Sounds like I have a couple games to sign up for at Southern Exposure.

Just a note..."Sour Grapes" will be released as a 1-6 level module.  The change was made to better accommodate our new players.  If your PC is 7th level, you will want to create a new PC for playing this event before SE.
