*Saint Moko saunters into The Cave, dressed as normal, and sits at the bar*

Hey Nick, can I get a pint of Geordie Pride and a shot of Johnny Walker Black?

[Lovious]

Saint Moko "Hey Nick, can I get a pint of Geordie Pride and a shot of Johnny Walker Black?"

::Nick looks up from his want ads::

     "Sure, though I've got some orders coming in soon, some ping pong balls should be here any minute now."

::Nick draws the Geordie Pride from the tap, then deftly pours a shot of Johnny Walker Black::

    "Here you go Moko, so you coming to the Godotolympics? This weekend?"

[Stran Tannish]

The shadows in one corner of the Cave lengthen and separate from the wall, and out steps Stran in his white robe, his spellbook tucked under one arm. He walks to the bar, nods to Moko, then catches Nick's attention.

"When you get a chance, a pint of Magic Hat if you please."

[Lovious]

::Nick picks up a freshly cleaned pint, fills it with Magic Hat #9 and puts it down in front of Stran::

    "How goes the business?  I hear you've been doing your fair share of adventuring, or at least sending others off for adventures."

[Stran Tannish]

"Well we cleaned out the Grove as best we could, if that's what you mean. There were some nasty demons hanging around, and I just can't have that in a place that's supposed to keep my family safe. I was glad to get all the help I did though. Three Avalons showed up, which is rare because no one's really seen much of them besides Arzu lately."

Stran takes a pull from his pint and sets it back down on the bar. Beside the glass the hamster appears out of nowhere and squeaks at Nick in a friendly manner, hoping he remembers the hamster's usual of a pint of guinness. Stran speaks again.

"The only thing I'm kind of worried about is that when it was all over, I saw a lot of demons disappear into the sky. No idea where any of them went. I'm thinking they can't enter Nexus Proper, since they first appeared in my territory they may be restricted in some way; but they may try and find a way to get to other territories to make nuisances of themselves. First thing I hear about it, I'm taking care of it."

[Lovious]

::Nick nods and then indicates the Soul Eater next a goldfish swimming in beer::

   "Those things came in through territories, the soul eaters that is, and from what I hear even got in through to the Nexus.  Folks seem to say that can't happen anymore, but I don't believe it."

[Lovious]

::Lovious in a Hawaiian shirt Climbs up through a trap door behind the bar of the Cave,  Nick looks at him, shrugs, and goes back to cleaning the pint glasses.::

   "Nick, I think I'm going to need something extra strong to drink, make it a Lovious Countdown."

    ::Nick drops the glass from his hands, as his eyes go wide.::

    "But Boss, you remember the last time, with the Gargleblasters?  The Blue Bathroom?  The poor Smurf Village?"

     "Relax Nick, that was a long time ago, and I had 9 of them.  I think I can handle one Countdown."

     ::Nick eyes his want ads with the look of a haunted man, his hands begin to reach for them when he feels Lovious presence bearing down on him.::

     "Now Nick, I know we have the ingredients we need, and I'll make it myself if you can't handle it."

      ::Nick pulls his hand back from the newspaper::

      "Boss... I was just looking for some polish grass seed, for the Polska Vodka I was going to use."

      :Lovious shakes his head::

      "The infinite intoxication drive is in the other room, I'll watch the bar while you make the preperations."

      ::Nick sighs and drops his head.  As he's walking to the backroom he turns for a minute.::

      "You know boss, the other bosses are worried about you.  About what you are being driven to do."

       "It's ok Nick, my apathy field will keep them in line while I make the arrangements."

       ::Nick stands there looking at the Lovious in the Hawaiian shirt.  His face is twitching through expressions lost in their dance of emotions, until it settles on one... resignation.  With that he turns and walks into the back room.  A female voice can be heard as he enters.:: "Michael, is that you?  Where have you been?"  ::Nick's voice answers sadly:: "No, it's not Michael, it's just a friend Vanessa, do you remember me?  My name is Nick."  "Nick? Oh yes, we met once before, but it's been so long, and I've been so alone, where is Michael."  ::There is a long pause before Nick answers.:: "I wish I knew Vanessa, I wish I knew."

[Saint_Moko]

*Saint Moko looks over to Lovious*

Hey, man! long time, no see.. here, sit down and have a beer, man.

[Lovious]

::Lovious smiles at Moko::

    "Good to have you back friend.  Just a little tense moment before.  So where've you been?  You know that there is another religious guy around now.  You might want to look him up."

::Nick comes out of the back with a crystal clear cube.::

   Nick says, "Here you go boss."

::Lovious smiles and takes the cube.::

    ::Lovious raises the cube and makes a toast with Moko::  "DOBA!"

::With that, Lovious puts the cube between his teeth and drinks a glass of water through it.  After the cube dissolves, Lovious grabs a hand full of cherries and downs them.  About ten seconds later, Lovious in a hawaiian shirt disappears for a moment, only to be replaced with a Lovious with jeans and a t-shirt w/ flannel.::

    ::Lovious raises the cube and makes a toast with Moko::  "DOBA!"
DOBA! *Moko then takes a drink*

::With that, Lovious puts the cube between his teeth and drinks a glass of water through it.  After the cube dissolves, Lovious grabs a hand full of cherries and downs them.  About ten seconds later, Lovious in a hawaiian shirt disappears for a moment...

...Hi, Llovious... man, I thought I had lots of me's running around.  At least all the me's are in my head though.

[Lovious]

::Lovious looks a little bewildered at his sudden appearance in the Cave::

   ::Nick looks at Lovious and says:: "It was a Lovious Countdown, from the infinite intoxicator"

::Lovious nods:: "So, he could be anywhere, so much for our survaillance on him."

::Lovious turns to St. Moko and smiles:: "Yes, keeping them all in your head can be good, but then you might get shut out completely for a while, can't you?"

[Saint_Moko]

Eh, kinda... we.. I... have sort of come to an... agreement, and now we're.... I'm one person now.  Kinda why I needed to take some time off, get the voices in my head to agree, ya know?

So, what's with all the Lovi? Not that I'm complaining, the more Godot the better.

[one-shot]

::Bagpipes can be heard faintly from outside the cave, growing steadily louder, as a thick mist rolls into the room, but stays at floor level (about 1 foot high).

::As the pipes reach their highest volume, they abruptly stop. The mist seems to climb one section of the wall on the opposite end of the room as the bar, and Liam Murray steps through the mist. As he does so, the wall of mist falls to the floor to remain with the rest.

"STRAN!!!! Stran Tannish! Ye lit'le weasel! Where ye bin hidin' yerself, Lad? Oh.... sorry, where are my manners?  Deus Megrit! (sounds like day-a grit) and DOBA!" Let's 'ave a drink and catch up!

"Nick! Old friend.... Might I 'ave me usual? y'know, Carbomb wit a Jameson shot chaser.... might as well pour a second pint o' Guinness for me too, there's a lad!"

Liam sits down at a table, and pushes out a chair for Stran to take a seat.... "Sit, can I get you a REAL pint o' drink? Instead o' tha swill yer drinkin'?" he says to Stran.

((Stran left the cave a while ago, I know I never actually posted a departure for him, but he's wrapped up in some other threads at the moment. Sorry for the confusion.))
