Posting Request
« on: August 15, 2005, 04:54:58 PM »

I was wondering if it's legitimate to request that all posts in the Cave be moved to the current Cave Thread? This way I'll get a notification everytime there is something going on there and not have to remember to check?  Or am I being a jerk?

That's a fine request - in fact, that's sort of what we'd intended, but we were going to see how people naturally used the forum before telling them how we'd envisioned them using it.

I love the idea of location-based threads.  Certain plots may wind up with their own threads, but when they enter a known location, it makes sense to move the thread there for the nonce, so that whoever else might be hanging out there can react.  A simple (moving to Thread X) on exit should make it easy enough to follow the plotline.

I'm sorry, but WHICH Linda is this? The one who came kicking and screaming into the new forum saying "I HATE forums"??

Grumble, grumble, NOW he listens to me, grumble, grumble.  :-\

Hey, I'm getting enough less email now that it's much less painful.  And in about a week or two I plan on dropping a bunch of Yahoo groups I no longer need, which will help even more!
