[Jon Stone]

Jon stops Yuri just before he can leave, "Wait, Yuri, what about a manifestation?  U didn't tell me any avatars had become manifestations...or that any new manifestations had 'poofed' into existance."

[CassieMcCullin]

"Yuri! Slow down. It's rude to go portalling off in the middle of a conversation," Cassie admonishes with more than a little hint of a mommy-voice. "You are not a ferret, you are an immortal being, and can wait the five minutes to answer Jon's questions and see if anyone present would like to accompany you, or has another idea.

She notes the direction Yuri was about to head in. "The Nexus will tell us what we, as Avatars, already know. If you wish to question Spencer, treat her as an Avatar who was present - *not* as some kind of mystic telephone."

[Socket]

"Yeah, slow down.  We're not going anywhere... unless someone else is making a wish that we don't know about.. but anyway I agree with other guy here: What fledgeling manifestation?  And how does one fledgel anyway?"

*The extra arms are in the midst of drawing up plans for what looks to be a rather aerodynamic oil tanker*

Yuri turns on a heel, "I would never treat Spencer as anything but an Avatar Cassie." Yuri turns to Jon, "The being which granted Frig'em'all's wish was some form of new Manifestation. It identified itself as the Chaos Wolf."

"No Avatar has become a Manifestation, at least, no new Avatars have become new manifestations."

[Jon Stone]

Jon looks at Cassie like one looks at a Catholic School nun with a ruler in their hand.  Then looks back to Yuri after he turns.  "Sorry about holding you up Yuri.  It just seems ever answer results in a thousand more questions for me since i wasn't there.  But Cassie and Socket were there, as were others, so if you're in a rush to your meeting with Spencer then i'm sure i can find out what i need from other avatars."

He then turns to Cassie/Socket(yes this is your new name, lol), "This wasn't one of those Chaos Wolves that Cutthroat is always ranting about is it?"

[Yuri_Prime]

"There is no need to apologize, Jon. I merely thought that the questions you had were answered, and that we were finished here for the moment." Yuri gives Jon a nod, "It's no hold up, I'm certain that both Spencer and the Digi-Net will be there when I arrive, and it's not that I'm in a rush to meet with her again, but rather she was there and I would like to ask her any questions while the events are still fresh in her mind."

"She's a very observant woman, Delphi stature aside, and she may have noticed or felt something that I did not. She may have felt something when I probed the sentience of the darkness that now calls itself the Chaos Wolf." Yuri shakes his head, as though to banish foul thoughts, "Death and ruin, on a scope unimaginable. Millions of worlds, devoid of life, screaming in agony, in a neverending torment of anguish and pain. That is what I saw..."

[Socket]

" 'Chaos' Wolf indeed.  More like stupid evil badness claiming Chaos.  True chaos is not evil as much as it is not good.  It just is and it balances itself in the end.  Order needs Chaos so it does not stagnate.  Chaos then once again achieves order.  Destruction, death, and manipulation may be the tools of Chaos, but the intention this thing apparently has is not the same.  It sounds like it seeks an end, not a new beginning.  For that it must be punished for its copyright infringement and be forced to endure the horror of the frilly underpants so that it may never again know comfort... or some other highly torturous torture involving eternal pain like working in a cubicle filing paperwork that serves no purpose other than to be filed in a cubicle."

Yuri supresses a chuckle, "You're oddly right, Cassocket. It could be that this creature deems itself the Chaos Wolf because it is expected too. This *is* the Nexus, an entire region of the collective consciousness. Here, the Mob Mind reigns supreme. It is entirely possible that this Chaos Wolf is so wicked and lupine simply because everyone expected it to be. The Chaos Wolf may very well be the result of everyone in the Nexus believing in the Chaos Wolf, very similar to my initial designs for the construction of the Unified Circuit."

"If this beast came into being by the mass belief that it exists, then perhaps a similar display of disbelief could disrupt or even discorporealate the beast, though by no means am I suggesting that we all do something as inane as holding hands and singing or something as blibberingly pointless as that."

[Brother Seneca Shakran]

  A tapping of a wooden staff on the ground, heralds Seneca's arrival.  He looks over the gathered and gawking avatars.  He walks right up to Cassocket, and damn near sniffs the air about her like an animal.  He then grins broadly, raising an eybrow over the rim of his glasses.
  "Upgrades.", he mutters.
  Moving back over to Yuri, he looks up at the russian bear, and smiles.  "My ears were burning."  He nods back at the chapel, "So the rumors were true?"

[Yuri_Prime]

Yuri watches the heralded arrival of Seneca, and when asked to confirm the rumor, he merely nods. "Yes, our comrade Frig'em'all is on what can best be described as a Nexal Sabbatical. Gone, but only for the moment."

"You were missed at the gathering, Seneca. It's the least gatherings where the most occurs."

[Brother Seneca Shakran]

  "So it would seem.", is the reply.
  Seneca closes his eyes for a moment, he's concentrating on something.  "Your friend's thread is gone from the tapestry.  As well as that of Michael Lovious Smith's.  This is not usual.  Would you like to tell me more?  Or keep me in the dark?"

[Jon Stone]

As Yuri and Seneca talk Jon turns to Cassie.  "Cassie, I'm going to go see what Andromache has to say about what happened, but before i do i have just a fe wmore questions.  Have you tried to scan proper with the satelite to detect any signs of the Lovii, if one is indeed back?  Could you tell me the easiest way to Andromache's domain?  And what can you and Socket do now with your combined power, its to intreeging not to ask."

He grins and his eyes gleem alittle as he asks the last question.

[Brother Seneca Shakran]

   A perturbed look passes over Seneca's face.  He calls back over his shoulder.  "Maybe you didn't hear.  Lovious's thread is no longer a part of the tapestry.  He is not within the Nexus anymore, and it is suspect as to whether he even exists.  So again, would you like to explain to me how this, or what exactly, has transpired?  If you wish to have any hope of recovering your loved ones, further delay is impermissible."

[Maxwell]

Maxwell work it way back together and flows through the processor chain back to the electrode by the access hatch and a soft plink of impact might be heard by anyone paying attention as the spark hits and is halted by the access hatch.

Due to the way Maxwell normally “speaks” its voice would not actually seem to come from Cassie-Socket

“Well then Cassie, Socket this is most incredible I think I’ve made a major theorem breakthrough, I have a couple tests it like to try a little later when you can spare the time.”

Sensing Yuri “Yuri I think the current situation may off set the proposal track a bit but we may be able to get a good bit done in the next lull we get in the current action.  Either way I would like to coordinate with you soon.”
 

Maxwell looks at the access hatch and considers,.. wasn’t any trouble going the other way.   Maxwell turns to the closest neuron and actually speaks as if leaning next to a buddy on a wall. “….. well you got any ideas?”

"Wishes" Yuri remarks to Seneca, "All the work of Wishes. As for the threads, the Nexus is a place where the mind holds power and sway. If his return is wanted hard enough, the Nexus will have no choice but to conform."

Yuri then turns to fully face Seneca, "Wishes granted, by the power of a being calling itself the Chaos Wolf, and yes, it is manifest, and yes it is here." Yuri then turns to Cassockwell, "Cassocket, I shall see what I can turn up, and will keep you informed of any findings of signifigance. Maxwell, I shall make the time to speak to you on the matter." He turns again to Seneca, "I trust you'll excuse the abnormal shortness of my answers. A brother of mine is missing, and I'm working as hard as I can think to guide him back, threads be damned."
