I for one would like to see some more support for the games that WizKids puts out. It was great at DEXCON to see the Heroclix and Pirates events, but they didn't really generate that much interest. I don't remember if there were any MechWarrier or even MageKnight games.

As an established Heroclix player and up-and-coming Pirates player, I'd like for there to be more to do with these games at future big conventions.

Thoughts?

Hi All,

Im working hard at building he interest in Wizkids Games at DE events.
If anyone wants to look for themselves they can see a history of con events that starts with shoreCon 2000 and and includes other NJ cons that have gotten Venue approval but never evven had events regestered to run at the con.
DEXCON-8 was the first NJ con that I found on the Wizkids site that has actualy gon off.

Southersn Exposure curently has 6 heroclix events and 1 Pirates event schedualed. On top od that we already have one person regesterd at the wizkids site as participating in all six Hero Clix events. YES he has been sent an email with links to the DE web site and fourms so that he can prereg for the con.

Now that we have the events it will grow.

BTW: At this time we have only had Heroclix & Pirates events, But Our envoy is now approved to run events for the new Rocketmen game. An d we should be seeing that run at Dreamation 2006

Some of the LARPA folks have been playing pirates after seeing it at DEXCON.  It is love.

Working my way through Crimson Coast and Revolution now.
