"Did we meet?  I don't recall.  My memory has been terrible lately."

she takes his hand lightly. "it was at some silly movie. i was only there for a little bit of it." she says as they walk in with the rest of the group.

"Silly movie!?  That's my only connection to my real life!"

(dinner has not yet been served but there's piles of appetizers and fresh fruits to eat and any desired drink in the sitting room)

"Silly movie!?  That's my only connection to my real life!"

"Really? I didnt know that... maybe its not so silly." she pauses thinking about the movie. "you were attacked by a giant marshmellow man?"

"Well, uhm... okay, admittedly I have no memory of it.  But I'm told that I was actually a Ghostbuster."  He gestures to the crumpled jumpsuit.  "Got a uniform and everything."

A striking girl in her late teens opens the door and smiles at the small group assembled in the front yard.

"I'm sorry! I thought everyone had already come in! Everyone else is in the parlor. You should go join them. The tapas are phenomenal. I should know. Papa and I helped make 'em."

She flashes an innocently immodest grin and laughs. Her voice is like the chiming of gentle bells and her words gush forward like splashes of water from a fountain.

She is likely the most exotic blonde that any of the assembled have ever seen. Her features are a blend of Eastern European and Asian but there is a trace of fae about her that is unmistakable to anyone familiar with Ancient Sylvan ethnicities.

"I'm Natalya. Papa and I watch the girls so often that we know our way all over the kitchen. So when Andi decided there was to be a party, she called us in for reinforcements. Oh but here I am babbling and you still haven't had a thing to eat!" She reaches out to take Fox by the arm completely unperturbed by his shape asks him, "Do you prefer ouzo or vodka?"

Des giggles. "I see... so you have no memory of who you were?"

Ray goes in, and seeing people taking food, starts moving towards it.  "Well, I saw that movie...."  Ray grabs the first thing he reaches and eats it quickly.  It happens to be a piece of dry, white toast, but Ray eats it like it's the best thing he's ever had.  And given his memory loss, this may be true.

OOC: THERE IS NO DRY WHITE TOAST IN XENIA ANYWHERE!

okay, but only if deep down a part of his psyche was yearning for it and the domain, being accomodating, acquiesced.

(Yeah, he's eating dry white toast.  And the instant he finishes it, he's lunging for whatever else is on the table - something a bit more flavorful.  But the toast was closest )

(P.S. I promise he won't lunge for one whole fried chicken.)

After about 20 minutes of all the guests arriving, milling, talking and eating, Andromache and Mack return. They are arm-in -arm and staring into each others eyes in a way that leaves little doubt that something is blooming between them. Mack's normal combat ready clothing and weapons are not present. He is wearing a simple pair of dark pants, a white linen shirt, a pair of sandles and a braided belt. The casual attire actually accentuates his very large frame, making him look even bigger than he normally does, however his normally stoic look seems softened and he seems at peace. He gives the overall impression of a gentle giant. Andromache wears an equally content look on her face and until they reach the guests they simply seem to be absorbed in each others eyes. When they arrive in the main area where the refreshments are being served Mack seems to release his eye contact to allow her to become the hostess she so loves to be.

Andromache is wearing exactly what she was wearing earlier in the day when she first met her guests in Proper: the white toga-style dress, the silver rose dangling from a thin chair around her throat, the same sandals, the same bangles and tinkling anklets. Only her hair is  different-- slightly more touseled than when she left to put Kay and Thea to bed. Before long, she just takes it down, but she keeps figiting with it as if she has too much energy and nowhere to put it.

As they seperate and mingle, they keep exchanging glances. Eventually Mack will go over and sit on a chair near the food table.
