I was wondering if anyone here had heard of it, and if so, what did you think of it?

Yeah, I've known people that have played Entropia.  It gets into some scary realms with real money, and some very ruthles attitudes among the players.  People have been known to shell out large sums of real cash in order to by virtual real estate in this game.  The advantage, in theory is that it gets developed in the game and then you can turn a profit back on it.  However, I like to think of it much like an online casino.  Very nice, a chance to make money off oyur comp, but only if you have a very good system for the numbers involved and a good amount of luck.  You'll probably turn more prfoit with a few smart day trades, than you will in this game.

Well, the concept of making money on it, while intriguing, is less than secondary.
If I do, I do. Good for me.
And no, I'm not going to shell out any real money to buy stuff.
I have a hard enough time paying for the real world things I need and/or want.

Only played it for a few hours so far. Looks like sort of an "evercrack in space".
