I've just finished getting this cleared so I want to make a formal announcement(as I know Divus Ex has a strong following around here). James Moore and myself will be collaborating on running a Divus Ex Larp at Dreamnation(before any one asks we have already asked Three Fates gaming and yes they have said its ok).
For those who don't know Divus Ex is a LARP in which you play gods(kinda says it all doesn't it). In this particular case we are adapting the Dragonlance pantheon to the Divus Ex rules. Playable characters will consist of all 21 gods of Krynn. Now the story line is the best part (at least for me as a major fan of the Dragonlance saga). The whole 8 hour larp will consist of the time period leading up to the Cataclysm. You'll get to play the gods in one of the most signifigant eras of Krynn history and see the sort of politics that might go into the decision to wipe a nation off the face of a planet. The event is set to run Saturday from 2pm onward and is called Divus Ex: Cataclysm: The Sorrow of the Gods.
On a related note this will also mark the second offering from the staff of GALL(Gamemasters Against Lynching Larpers(long story)) which is James, myself and Justin Kimble. For those who are curious our previous LARP was Scooby Doo Where are You? at Dexcon 9.
