Official DVD release: "This Is Otakudom"
« on: December 12, 2006, 11:33:54 AM »

Greetings All!

I just wanted to announce the official DVD release of No.N.D.E. Fanfilms production "This Is Otakudom". For those who aren't familiar with it, it's by the same crew who did "S.T.E.A.M.: The Movie" and is something of a prequel.

It comes complete with commentaries, cast photos/bios, videos, some 'making of' material...you get the gist.

I've been authorized by Scott Melzer (writer/producer/etc) to make copies for any interested parties, as long as it's NOT done for profit. This caveat is, of course, applicable to anyone who recieves a copy. This means that if I, for example, find it for sale on that goddamned video pirate's table THERE'LL BE FUCKIN' HELL TO PAY!!!!!! Not only will I cease making copies for anyone but I'll furnish NO COPIES of "S.T.E.A.M." when it's finally released.

That disclaimer out of the way, let me know if you want a copy and I'll do my best to fufill said request. I'll have as many done as possible for Dreamation, where I plan on screening said parody again (I know we showed it some years ago, but I can't remeber exactly when).

Till then, be seeing you...

I can make copies at Dreamation if given a blank DVDs to make them with.

Hmmm...that might not be a bad idea.

How does this sound for a plan? I make you (that is, Ted) a copy for you to keep. People (that is, attendees who I don't already see on a weekly basis) who want a copy bring a blank DVD and Ted cranks out the discs off his copy. This way my official copy is safe and not tied up in mid-process when it comes time to screen it in the A/V room.

Is that an acceptable solution?

Sounds like a plan.

I'll also pickup some extra blanks for people that don't have.
