  So the nice folks down at Square-Enix handed Sony a kick to the crotch today.  The next installment of their Dragon Quest series, the series that according to gamer legend is legally banned form being released in Japan on any work day, will reside solely on the Nintendo DS platform.  Now if only DQ IX would be something of a new game instead of a rehash of previous DQ games with better sound and graphics... 

Oh also of note famed Dragonball and Chrono Trigger artist, Akira Toriyama will be back on the character design for DQ IX.

Oh yes.  Completely.  DQ IX is slated for the Nintendo DS and nowhere else.
