Mine's probably getting its opticals fixed one last time, upgraded with a hard drive, and turned into a Linux something.

Hmm. Wonder if anyone's yet used a Linux-PS2 as a media-center PC... this could solve one problem I'm facing with my impending relocation.

I've yet to be able to do anything of the sort... However, if you need help putting such a project together, Adam, I have experience in using Linux to do media tasks, and would be more than willing to assist.
