[Brother Seneca Shakran]

  Shortly after the gathering hotel dissipates, Seneca return to the Beacon, with a small entourage of wraiths behind him.  The carry all manner of food and drink.  Sandwiches, sweets, lager, liquor, crudites, cookies, milk, water, and potting soil; its all there for the sharing.  Seneca, looking his normal aged self, directs them to lay it all out on a large picnic blanket.  Lastly, in the center of the blanket, he places a a massive plate of green grapes, and smiles contentedly to himself.
  "Come now.  Time is a wasting.", he mutters, sitting back down on his rock from earlier, and sipping some of the milk and popping a few of the grapes.

†  The familiar sound of Sebastian's FAV can be heard out near the front of Sanctuary.  before long, Sebastian himself can be seen walking his way toward the beacon with a brisk step, and alking on a hand-held communicator, "ja ... we have what I think is a reliable core, I can only hope that together we can make a difference. I have to go ... there is still another matter which needs immediate attention ... ja ... auf wieder sehen."


     The hunter looks across at the form of Arwen, more or less ignoring the picnic grounds, and addresses Seneca, "any change?"

After the gathering the newly promoted Cardinal will return to the beacon wearing the new trappings of his rank. "Is she any better?"

[SigmaCaine]

Insert Sigma's motorcycle arrival here. He still goes up to Sebastian, and returns the handshake in that odd fashion.

"Back to work, yeah. It's good to be back in action... What are you doing here?"

[Brother Seneca Shakran]

  A very cold fire begins to burn in Seneca's eyes, as he shoots a piercing glare at Sigma. 
  With a very even, matter of fact tone, he addresses the Galahad, "You have some very unmitigated gall to consciously set foot on these grounds, virus.  Explain yourself, and your buisness here.  Make it fast, and make it plausible. 
  The hallowed spirits, that guard these grounds, are already quite unhappy with your presence.  And I will offer you little protection from their wrath."

[Dragontologist]

Felegro, also arriving soon after the Gathering, watches Seneca, obviously interested, but remains silent for the moment.

[wcshoe]

Cutthroat, perched on the outstretched paw of the eight foot tall statue of his father, watches calmly, wondering whether or not he will have to shoot somebody. "Be advised, Seneca, that Sigma is of MUD. As a Knight of MUD, I would be obligated to protect him from violence. Sigma, be advised that Seneca is a member of the Noble Order of the Cookie. I would disappoint my father if I allowed him to come to harm. I suggest we resolve this peacefully. I would hate to have to do combat with friends."

Hyran, having arrived sometime before the end of the Gathering, looks on in amusement, and shakes his head in mock disbelief. "Cutthroat, the voice of peace."

[Arwen Galen]

Arwen continues to float in the Fury Beacon, gaining strength and knowledge of the null time infinite, the golden dragon keeping a watching eye for interlopers while swimming around her in the pure light.

Hyran looks about to comment further, when a grimace of unexpected pain crosses his face. He puts one hand to his temple, closing his eyes.

[SigmaCaine]

Sigma, who seems about to say something smarmy to Seneca, turns to Hyran instead. The grin drops from his face and he asks, "What's wrong?"

[wcshoe]

Eyes still closed, Hyran speaks. "Crafty is eating a milkshake too fast. I'm getting feedback through MUD link."

Cutthroat nods sympathetically, glad that his own MUD critter is fond of crisp green apples instead.

[Brother Seneca Shakran]

  Seneca chuckles lightly,  "Poor Crafty."
  Seeing that Hyran is relatively unharmed, Seneca turns back to Sigma.  "So what are you waiting for you vicious diffutata mentula?  The spirits are waiting for your explanation, as to why you think you have right one to stand here. 
  As I suspect Arwen's protector, and avenger, is about to join them, I'd make that explanation even faster.  She's quite skilled in matters of the mind and soul.  Not that you would know, Commander, you shining example of the field grubs that are Galahad."
 

[SigmaCaine]

Sigma laughs at Seneca. "If your'e trying to provoke me it's not working. I don't have to defend myself to the likes of you, Chaos. I came here to see Sarah about Guardian, and apparently Arwen's still in the Beacon, so I'll try and help her if I can. As for these mystical guardians" - he cracks his knuckles - "let them come, but I'm not the one who's threatening violence."

  Seneca nearly doubles over cackling.  "You couldn't help yourself to a buffet, you arrogant idiot!  You honestly think that Sarah, or any part of the Nexus, which you betrayed so efficiently, is going to be inclined to give you iota one of information?!  Perhaps, maybe, they might just tell you what you can go do with yourself.
  And Guardian?!  The brother of Tybalt Capulet, whose grave you walk upon now with impunity.  Guardian, the Progenitor, and the spirit of the true Galahad, and spiritual father to your abandoned fiancee.  You can count yourself quite fortunate, if you leave an encounter with him with all your vital parts intact.  And whatever he does do will be just retribution, for even trying to wear that sacred chalice upon your chest.
  But no, you go ahead and try, my little virus.  You'll be more abject entertainment, than any fool I've ever seen in a royal court before. Even the spirits agree with me.  You are quite amusing to them now.  They ask you to keep up the good work, and suggest you join the Cleese as soon as you can."

[SigmaCaine]

Sigma calmly flips off Seneca. "I don't have to explain my reasons for what I did to you. When she's done being broken, or whatever it is she's doing, I'll explain them to her. Whether or not she accepts them is up to her - but either way, you have no right to say I've betrayed or abandoned the *entire* *Nexus*. As important as you like to think your family is, they are not the be all end all of the multiverse. If they are, then why does anyone else exist? For your amusement only? Oh yeah, apparently so. I'm just abject entertainment.

"When Guardian wakes up, if he decides I'm not part of his House, fine. That's for him to judge. Either way, I'll just keep going. Whatever button I wear doesn't change who I am."
