  Still smiling, Seneca shakes his head.  "I wouldn't trouble her ever.  She'll shoot you right between your wandering eyes, before you open your mouth.
  I can say with some certainty that you have betrayed the Nexus, as you have broken the promise you made in its earshot.  Not that it ever expected you to hold to it, faithless coward that you are.
  As for the Family, if you can't show an entity any respect, how can you possibly expect to receive any in return?  You take, and take, and take, giving to nothing and no one.  Then you leave the wasted soul behind.  And this time you actually propagated, you parasite.  I think that would be the exact definition of a virus.  Would you like me to get your old partner Cassie back here to confirm it?  She's probably laughing her fool head off at the 'fallen hero'.
  Go back and hide yourself in the breast of your succubus.  Or even better, why not leave entirely?  Your trump has likely been sufficiently invalidated at this point.  Use the infinite connectivity of the Nexus, and return to a time and place, where you can rest in the arms of your repiloid harlot."

†  Sebastian interposes himself between the two men, "enough ... both of you.  if you two have some score to settle, then let it be settled elsewhere, we are here to assuage the pain fraulein Galen is suffering, not to compound it."  He turns to face Seneca, his back to Sigma, "and you should be the last to be threatening harm on holy ground ... in a place called Sanctuary, no less.  I do not know what issue you have with him, nor do I care at the moment.  Deal with it at the appropriate time and in the appropriate place."

[SigmaCaine]

Sigma sighs. "And still you see nothing beyond your own nose... I broke a promise to Valeria first. I paid the price for that. And then I fixed it - unfortuantely, that hurt Cody. But don't you see? If I hurt everything, and destroy everything, and take without giving, then why would you want me anywhere near her? Has it occurred to you that maybe I know *exactly* what I am, and *that's* why I left her? She's strong, she'll hurt now, but she'll get over me. If I stayed it would have been constant pain, for everyone involved."

He puts his hand on Sebastian's shoulder. "You're right, of course. This isn't the time or place for any of this. But it's life and it happens whether you want it to or not. We make mistakes, we try our best to fix them, we move on. We're only human."

He turns to walk towards the Beacon. "Pain and suffering is part of life. We all have to learn to deal with it. But we don't need boxes of rage, or magical light, or any of that crap. If we're lucky - and Arwen is - we have friends who will help us when we're ready to drive swords through our gut to end it all."

Standing in front of the Beacon, speaking as loud as he needs to be heard by everyone around, he says, "There never should have been a House Galahad. No one will ever be that perfect."

  "Why are you so certain Arwen is in pain?  Scared she is, maybe.  But in pain?  Not really. 
  The Beacon is posibly the most peaceful place one could find themselves.  Oneness with everything lies in its light.
  If you need reassurance that she is alright, as I said earlier she has recovered the focus for her powers.  I'm now leading her towards the emotional control she'll require for tht focus.  The focus is...quite strong, and it would be irresponsible for me to not help her to find her balance.  She will make quite the ardent, and powerful Galahad...when she awakens. 
  In the meantime, I reccomend that you keep speaking whatever prayers and goodwill you can, for her spirit and psyche."

(OOC: I'd actually prefere it if my entrance stayed in the original sanctuary thread where I put it (pre-lovicon). Fits my timeline just fine. But, I'll leave when Sara prompts and return today)

Hollywood pulls up to the Sanctuary Beacon in his black Mitsuhama Diablo (motorcycle). He removes his flame striked helmet and hangs it from the bikes handlebars. Seeing the turmoil going on between Seneca and Sigma, the fleming opts to remain scarce and stick to the edge of the crowd, not wanting to get involved.

Felegro watches the entire scene, seemingly ignoring the raging emotions.  At first, he seems ready to interupt and calm down the situation, but then  he shrugs and moves closer to the beacon (about 20-25 feet, out of range of where the light pushed him back to before the gathering). 

(OOC, where is the red box at this point?  And is Sarah involved in this post-gathering scene yet?)

Hyran shakes his head, and walks away from the group, toward the Beacon. (Does the Dragon attempt to stop him from getting within 5-10 feet?)

†  Sebastian looks at Sigma with incredulity, then at Seneca with the same expression, "this is about a girl?  Threats of pain and involvement of the wraiths of this place over matters of a relationship gone sour?"  He turns to Sigma, "you need to choose your relationships more carefully ... don't expect that the demoness will give you any more comfort than Cody failed to." He then turns to Seneca, "and you ... let her grow up, she is far too old to be treated like a child ... and given your behavior at this instance you seem a poor choice in educating her on maturity."

     The hunter turns on his heel and walks to the beacon, kneeling and placing his balled fist against the ground in silent prayer, a few feet away from the jedi.

[Arwen Galen]

OOCHyran shakes his head, and walks away from the group, toward the Beacon. (Does the Dragon attempt to stop him from getting within 5-10 feet?)

OOC only if he attempts any mental scan of Arwen..then the same thing happens as did Felegro.

  "What can I say Sebastian?  They're protective of their loved ones.  And they despise being insulted, as you well know.  There's more to it than just Cody, but why spoil the moment?"
  Seneca looks up to the floating Arwen.  "There, there.  It'll all be over soon."

Hyran looks directly into the Beacon, at Arwen. "I am sorry I caused you pain. However, I cannot promise to support you in whatever you choose to do. You are too reckless, too impulsive, and if you continue letting your emotions guide you, too likely to turn to the Dark Side of the Force. You have already come too close, and I cannot support that. I will try to help you, but know this. My help may end up being my opposition of you."

(apologies for the delay.  Real life interference)

GM NOTE:  The following is a summation of the RP that took place at the BBQ this past weekend to finish out this scene.  Please do not respond or add to it if you were not at the BBQ, as a retcon at this point would be "messy".

  As Hyran provides his apology, a sign appears below the Beacon.  It details the process for substituting one object within its light, for another.  At the same time, the angry red contents of the cardboard box, slowy are diminished, and dissapear into the aether.
  Seneca grins as he watches the process, and remarks "Well ladies and gentlemen, I do think our cake is about ready to come out of the oven.  We'll need a few donations.  But before we go putting anything in there, remind me once more why you each want Arwen released?"
  Reasons are provided, ranging from Frigemall's "I promised to help.", to Sebastian's "She's a former housemate.", to Sigma's "She's my housemate.".  Seneca accepts them all, and then takes a token from whoever is before him.  He places them all in the now nearly empty cardboard box and lokks up to address Arwen.
  "It's time dear.", He remarks, lifting the box, an its contents up to the Beacon.  It floats the rest of the way into the pillar of light, as an unconscious Arwen falls into Seneca's waiting arms.  Arwen is returned, wearing an emerald green cloak, and gripping a sword tightly in her hand.
   Arwen returned, her ship Lacuna, unclaoks and trains its weaponry on the assembly.  Seneca looks up and explains that he will be taking her inside, to be safe, and to rest.  Inviting all present inside,  Seneca leads a procession back to Sanctuary Cathedral.  Hyran, for personal reasons not disclosed to the assembly, remains behind at the Beacon.
   As the procession moves onto the grounds, two canisters, containing various technological implants in a saline bath, are materialized for the procession to acquire.  After a few minutes of debate on what would be the best way to handle these, it is decided that Aiskon of Lugosi should be brought in to be asked to apply her medical and technological expertise.
   With some certainty, Aiskon explains how the facillities at Refuge will be adequate to reimplant Arwen's devices.  Confident in the Lugosi, Seneca transfers his care of Arwen to Aiskon, asking to be informed upon sucessful completion of the surgery.  Sebastian and Sigma remain at Sanctuary for the same news, and Sebastian is informed by wraith when the news maeks its way to the Cathdral.  The remainder of the party, minus Felegro, travels with Aiskon and Arwen to Refuge, to observe the proceedings.  Seneca, with Felegro following him, go into Seneca's apartments, as the Esper carries Arwen's sword into his chambers for safe keeping.
