By Weatherman

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reboot, the first all-CGI television show, is being remade by it's original animators as a series of CGI movies. The exact number of films is not known at this time. The company behind Reboot, Rainmaker Animation formerly MainFrame Entertainment, has announced a unique way of creating the script for the new films. They will be using the Zeros 2 Heroes website to recruit a total of 5 people to develop the script for the films. There will also be a web based comic created from the scripts.

It looks like they aren't getting much, if any, input from Ian Pearson, Gavin Blair and all the others who originally created the show and it's far-reaching story (fourth season events were hinted at back in the first season). Instead it seems they're barfing up a handful of derivatives and letting the wank-driven internet fans vote on which one to run with.

It screams "We own the name and characters but not the core story and were throwing a measly bone to the clamoring masses while trying to make a name for ourselves".

Personally, if it's not written by the creators I don't hold out much hope for it. It may be a decent, well-done product, but it won't be "ReBoot".

Just my two cents worth, admittedly a bit cynical.
