After the let-down I experienced, I think I'm permanently stuck on being more interested in seeing Whedon declare Serenity non-canon and launch a new Firefly run than anything else. It'll never happen, but one can dream.
Though the show sounds interesting - sort of Bellisario's "Quantum Leap" meets Abrams' "Alias". I *am* kind of curious to see how he handles it. Will it be in the character-driven person-versus-world thread of Firefly, or more of a plot-focused X-Files-ish conspiracy feel, or what? It's also going to be interesting to see how continuity flows when the main character would appear to have a near-totally unreliable memory (QL is one of the perennial examples of this - on the rare occasions when continuity was required, it was done via Al).
