my conclusions are that:

star level is rank within the system. It says senior staff next to my name, I have 5 stars. (it doesn't say senior staff next to Zane. Have that checked, or do you use other IDs?)
color is related to post level.

I don't use other accounts,That would be telling, Bill.  But, I seem to have access to all the places that I think I should. Ah well, I may look into the title thing later.
