Kotaku over the weekend got their hands on some copies of the next Guitar Hero game, and were kind enough to not only post some screenshots of each version, but also reveal a partial songlist for the game, including the lists for five of the venues featured in the game (All of them notable locations in Aerosmith's career):Nipmuc High SchoolAll The Young Dudes - Mott the Hoople*Dream Police - Cheap TrickMake It - AerosmithUncle Salty - AerosmithDraw the Line - AerosmithMax's Kansas CityI Hate Myself For Loving You - Joan JettAll day and all of the night - The Kinks*Movin' Out - AerosmithNo Surprise - AerosmithSweet Emotion - AerosmithThe Orpheum TheaterComplete Control - The ClashPersonality Crisis - New York Dolls*Livin' On The Edge - AerosmithRagdoll - AerosmithLove in an Elevator - AerosmithHalf Time ShowAlways On The Run - Lenny KravitzHard to Handle - Black Crowes*Back In The Saddle - AerosmithBeyond Beautiful - AerosmithDream On - AerosmithMoscowShe Sells Sanctuary - The CultKing of Rock - Run DMCBright Light Fright - AerosmithNobody's Fault - AerosmithWalk This Way - Run DMC featuring Aerosmith* - Cover VersionThe game, which will feature 41 songs, will consist primarily of Aerosmith songs (thus the title, obviously) but also feature songs by 'opening acts,' which will comprise about 40% of the songlist, by Kotaku's observation. The game will release on June 29th of this year. Also hot on the heels of this release is the discovery that Activision has filed for the release of Guitar Hero: Metallica by March of 2009 with the SEC.
