Seconded there - I know of some running out of Grimms Brothers out East (I think that's the Coram/Selden Area). Not too sure of any others just now, but a good bet is find your local game shop & ask.

FWIW, if you're in Nassau, there are groups at Games and Gifts Galore (Seaford), The Game Table (Mineola) and I'm fairly sure Grasshopper Comics (East Williston) has regular events too.

Yeah I have already looked into The Game Table. I was the one to bring Tiny & Barb over to see them. I live in the Mineola area. I was keeping my o9psions open.

There's a group of Long Island board gamers called LIBO. They meet mostly at people's houses, a different location each month, usually on a Saturday. Membership is by invitation only, but if you want more info, log on to www.libogroup.com/indepth.htm   Click on to the Message Board, then click on the top bar that says LIBO. Good luck.

LIBO mostly plays boardgames and miniatures. She was mostly asking about rpgs. Hopefully, she's found a nice group to join here between conventions.

With the fall semester starting soon. And my schedule is tight. I am going to see if there is a gaming club/group on campus and possibly join them.
