Why is it that whenever I try to run this LARP in a better time-slot in an attempt to increase attendance, I always encounter other more-established LARPS that no one, myself in this case, can compete with?  I feel truly screwed no matter what I do.  Either I run in an early in the con time slot when not many people are there yet and thus don't get a lot of players, or I run a LARP in a time slot where a lot of people are already at the con and they are guaranteed to play in something else.  I truly feel that the new/newer LARPs just don't have a chance and it really irks me.  I realize that a more established LARP with a good rep is obviously going to get repeat business, but then how are the newer ones going to become just as established if no one shows up to them?  This is just so frustrating and it honestly at times like this it makes me wonder if I should bother continuing to run the LARP at all.  Is it worth the time and effort put into it when no one is going to show up?  I hate the thought that "bad timing" is what kills an event.  If the LARP I run sucked, and people told me so, then that is my failing.  (And no, no one says this LARP sucks.  I mean, Joe, you have a blast and continue to play, so I must be doing something right.)  But to fail because of the time it is run in just hurts.  What the hell do I have to do to make this LARP a success?  ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

James, you don't *KNOW* the LARP will fail just because it's up against another LARP. I'm sure there will be people who don't play in some of the other LARPs who will be available for Atmosfear.

*sigh*  You may have a point.  I think it's just that after the time the Atmosfear LARP was scheduled for a Saturday afternoon and Deadlands ended up going off at that same time, and Atmosfear didn't go off as a result, I just worry.  Of course, it was Deadlands.  This is why I asked you to try and get ahold of Fishdevil to find out when they are running their stuff.  Cross fingers all.

Welcome All to the Zombie Jamboree of Baron Samedi!  In a surprise moment, the good Baron obtained the Host Duties at the end of the last Game.  Now, the fun times begin.  Come to his Zombie Jamboree as any one of the 7 Houses (or the Soul Ranger Tribe).

Play as:

The Restless Ones--The Average Joes of the Other Side.
The Witches--The Keepers of Magic.
The Zombies--The Necromancer Party Animals.
The Vampires--The Regal Politicians.
The Werewolves--The Primal Zen Warriors.
The Poltergeists--The Immature Insightful.
The Mummies--The Purveyors of Sin and Vice.
The Soul Rangers--The Violent Biker Police Force.

By all means, build your own character before the Game, or take a door character.

Aloha All!

Good Baron Samedi wishes it known that the Zombie Jamboree will officially take place now at 2PM on Friday instead of at Midnight.

Average Joe's eh? I don't know, I think we're starting to look a bit better than average.

Come one, come all!  Once again Kitsune Entertainment is proud to announce the Atmosfear:  The Nightmare will be running at Dreamation 2011!  In a very close vote, the fun-loving Baron Samedi retained his title as Host of the Game.  In an attempt to quell the rising tensions going on, the good Baron is hosting a Lord of the Dance competition during the Game, with a prize going to the one with the best moves.  Of course, that's not all that will be going on during the Game.  Business and politics as usual will of course carry on.

For those of you who don't yet know the roster of the Houses and Tribes, here they are:

The Restless Ones--Just the Average Joes of the Other Side.
The Soul Rangers--The Violent Biker Gang Police Force.

If you wish to create your own character before the Game, great!  Email me privately and we will get started right on that.  (Created Characters MUST be finished at least a week before Dreamation.)  If you don't wish to build your own character, we will have plenty of pre-generated characters at the door.

Thank you all, and see you at SHOWTIME!!!

Once again, Kitsune Entertainment is presenting Atmosfear:  The Nightmare!  This time we have a new Host and a new playable House.  Our Host is the legendary Anne de Chantraine, the Witch.  Our new House is the Clowns.  Yes, Clowns.  Now, for those of you with actual Clown phobias, do not worry.  Players and staff playing Clowns are not permitted to dress up as Clowns.

Come one, come all.  Face your Nightmare.

Mea Culpa Anne.

Atmosfear:  The Nightmare went off rather well at Dexcon.  On behalf of all of the KE staff, thank you to everyone who played.  I applaude the players for staying up late to play.  See everyone in February at Dreamation when Hellin gets to Host.

War now exists on the Other Side.  The seven Soul Ranger Tribes are now reunited and together with the Misresses of Mayhem, the Banshees, they are all wreaking havoc on the Harbinger Houses that have chosen to stand up against them.  Amidst all the carnage, the Game goes on.  For the sake of safety, the Werewolf god, Gevaudan, has regained the Host Duties.  To complicate matters, the first official Vote to determine if Mizrel will become the next Harbinger will finally be made.  The political drama has not been this thick in years.  What will the outcome be?  Will the Soul Rangers crash the Game?  Will the Banshees kill everyone?  No one knows.  That is the truly terrifying part.
