I'm pretty sure you get advanced to the Final round - that being said, I need to confirm it because I still have post-con Oatmeal Brain.  and thinking DENCC through oatmeal is tricky work.  Update as soon as I see Vinny and confirm my impression.

The answer is relative. It's also subject to change.

But currently, the answer is: DENCC Regional Champions get a bye into the SEMI-Finals of the National Championship at DexCon, bypassing at least one round of play there. And consistent with granting at least a one-round bye to a Regional Champion, if a DENCC National Championship is ONLY TWO ROUNDS AT DEXCON, then the Regional Champion byes the first round, and plays the final.

DENCC Regional Champions are also awarded complimentary non-transferrable Complete Memberships to DexCon.
