Dexcon Registration's word game

So there we were, registration is open to midnight, the registration staff is getting a little punchy, so we started playing a word game and invited anyone who happened along to participate.

Think of words starting with the letter "M" and ending with "N" -- place names are allowed, but not people's names.

You came up with a lot of words (you know who you are!) I dropped a few as being too badly misspelled by me or too obscure to find in an online search.

 If you can think of more, post them below.

I went through the list from the con again to see if I'd missed any other words (nothing like making a list then checking it twice) and came up with a total of three that got dropped when I typed it up: mention, magician, militarization.

Here's the list so far (from the con, and your posted additions). I didn't check thoroughly for duplication, so if you see something let me know. Also, while muskox is a word, the plural seems to be treated as two words, musk oxen. I added the plurals of many of the words ending in "man" as I came across them.

I can honestly say that these all popped into my head from whereabouts unknown. Google was only used to verify their veracity. I haven't been able to stop playing this infernal game since the con ( curse you Martha and Felicia  ).

Sorry about the dupes.

"Minyan", as a 10 person assembly, is not just a minimum number for saying prayers for the dead, although it is often the reason for it... it is the least number of people with whom itis liturgically legal for an obsrvant jew to pray (the daily or Sabbath scehdule prayer services) in a group -- based on the story from Genesis where Abraham besseches Him to spare Sodom and Gomorrah if even 10 righteous people can found in those places.  There could not bem but this established the number for prayer assembly.
