Got the automated call from Game Stop last night: "Soul Calibur 3, should be in stores tomorrow afternoon."  I'm stopping on the way home from work tonight.  To bad my PS2 is packed up for the move this weekend.

However, I'll be in Bristol, PA all next week for training.  Wonder what I'll do for hours on end at the hotel....  ;D

Nothing sadder than a game not being played.  Oops!  Did my PS2 just fall out of the box I was moving?  Darn, and the cables just happened to plug themselves in, too...  How could I resist having a game that sweet just sitting there all alone?

OK, after playing through the character story mode a few times (Astaroth, Sigfried, and Rock), holy crap there were upgrades; the return of Rock being the  most awesome.  Here's a list of what I found to be cool:
Astaroth has usable combos.
The character creation mode is pretty sweet, I'll definitely have to fiddle with that more.
New moves and combos everywhere.
The intro movie....  :o
Blocking and block recovery speeds have been increased (blockings always been one of my weak points, definitely shows now)
If you thought fighting Inferno in a field of flames was tough, look out for the new guy...

Its a good thing I'm out of school.  I would definitely fail my rear-end out again.
