How many cons are there?

I just recently started to attend conventions with my father, and they are a lot of fun. But since i just joined and my father hasn't been going to cons for over 15 years - until recently of course-, i was wondering how many gaming conventions there are and what their names are.
or possibly a link, since I'm sure there's one out there somewhere. ???

There's LOTS of cons. Looking at the past entries in the North American Conventions section will let you know of some of the cons. If you want more details, you can log on to:

Just a couple extra details, I live in PA, and it would be nice to know about any conventions within a several 2-3 hours drive :/ ,
