Well, Vampire:  Modern Age has been officially accepted and we are now taking character concepts.

Playable Clans:  Assamite (limit to the first 3 players), True Brujah (limit to the first 3 players, and no there is no Celerity), Cappadocian, Followers of Set (limit to the first 3 players.), Gangrel, Lasombra, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Ravnos (limit to first 3 players), Salubri, Toreador, Troilean (Modern Brujah), Tzimisce (only 2 slots left), and Ventrue.

Playable Bloodlines:  Covenant (limit of 2), Crusaders (limit of 5), Daughters of Cacophony (limit of 1), Eschatologists (limit of 1), Faithful (limit of 3), Georgio (limit of 3), Lamia (limit of 2), Nagaraja (limit of 3), Path of the Warrior (limit of 5), Phaedymites (limit of 3), Premascine (limit of 3), Samedi (limit of 1), Sisterhood of Sekhmet (limit 2), Sisterhood of the Erinyes (limit 1), Sybarites (limit 2), Transcendentals (limit of 3), and Wanderers (limit of 2).

oh, and the Caitiff...but you really don't want to play one.

Remember, in this world, the Camarilla and the Sabbat never formed.  Many of the Clans and Bloodlines have changed subtly to reflect this.  For those of you looking for Tremere or Giovanni, they are on this list, but you have to know where to look for them.  If you are interested in knowing what has changed for a particular group, email me offlist.  Additonally, certain Merits/Flaws and certain Backgrounds are limited.  Most Supernatural Merits/Flaws are being disallowed outright for their difficulty of portrayal in a LARP setting, for example.  Low generation characters are limited, so get yours in.

MET rules/versions DO NOT APPLY.  THIS GAME DOES NOT USE MET!

Oh, and if you don't build your own character, you will have to take a pre-generated door character.  If door characters don't appeal to you, well then build your own.  We will have LIMITED capacity to generate characters before the game, but if you don't get that character made by game start time, you are stuck with a door character.  You have been notified.

For the record, there are other Clans, and other bloodlines, but they won't be playable for the first game.

True Brujah (limit to the first 3 players, and no there is no Celerity)

That should be, there is no Temporis.

Hello All!  Kitsune Entertainment is proud to announce the return of Vampire:  The Modern Age at Dreamation 2011.  As previously mentioned, Modern Age is an alternate timeline Vampire:  The Masquerade LARP.  Modern Age was received well by all the players who came out for it at Dexcon, and we can only hope that things continue to get better for us at Dreamation.

This time around, the Toreador and the Followers of Set are teaming up to throw a party at the Giza Plateau, a popular nightclub in the city that is owned and operated by the Follwers of Set.  They promise that the rather bland party thrown by Prince Alexander a few months ago will certainly be overshadowed by the combined efforts of the Toreador and the Followers of Set.

If players wish, they may either build their own character prior to the convention (characters MUST be finished at least one week prior to Dreamation!) or take any one of the multitude of pre-generated door characters that will be available.

Hope to see everyone there!

Hey James I'm sure returning characters are no problem so I'm sure some of us will be in touch to go over what we did the past couple of months

Returning characters are definitely welcome.  In fact, I would be disappointed if you didn't reprise Max.  By all means, let me know what your character has been up to.

Kristoff will be returning as well, but I'll have to see if my retainer will be joining me.

Outstanding for A, and I certainly hope so for B.

I am sure lots of the original limits have been filled. what is still opened for me to create a Character for, and what book do I need or are the guildlines online? I know I have 2 days to get you a Character, I can e-mail it to you. Please get back to me, I am online all day today, Tues Feb 15th

All of the Playable Clans and bloodlines are still open.  The only thing that is now closed is the Elder slots.   You can use Clanbooks and the Players' guide.  The only thing you can do really is take backgrounds, merits, and flaws that apply specifically to the concept of the Sabbat/Camarilla.

by Elder slots you mean all low generation Characters. correct? if so can you tell me what the avg generation is currently, I would be happy with 10th or so.

by Elder, I mean using the Elder creation rules and the ability to use the Age Background.

10th Gen is fine.

have 3 Character ideas, Brujah(could be a Troilan),Malkavian(the coolest for others to play off of) And Gangrel(Strong silent type)
The Malk is a split personality, The main personality seems to be a child of 9 or so, the secondary is the protector(through whom most of the Characters abilities are made manifest),the third,is the Hunter, who only surfaces when the main personality is hungry. the forth is Known as "Uncle" the one apparent in matters of court and Intrique.
I have been away from gaming and Cons for 7 or 8 years, I am trying to locate books to get the Characters on paper again. If you need certain types for storyline needs, I will also be happy to run a pregen, or even help with NPC characters if you find yourself short of people to do them, Let me know
