[Proper] Interlude of a sort

"Tsuki. It is not my name, but it is what I will answer to." She held out no paw, nor made no gesture to accept his. The fox merely gave the Cornerian a nod, her white fur shifting to a normal red in the sunlight, her twin tails swaying of their own accord.

The ethereal female Jedi nods in greetings  "Amanda." supplying her name before continuing on "Uncle Hyran informs me that you can explain the philosophy of your House so I may better understand it."

[Fox McCloud]

Fox tilts his head at the talking fox...Expecting the person carrying it to be the one to talk.  He lowers his hand after Amanda speaks.  "Philosophy?  I wouldn't say we are much of the philosophical sort.  We are the warriors of the nexus...Or at least what most would think warriors to be." He looks off to the side. "For the most part."  He returns his gaze to Amanda. "We try to step in when talking isn't working anymore, and a more 'hands on' approach is needed.  We restrict ourselves to fighting for the good of the whole nexus as opposed to many of the houses more selfish approach of fighting for themselves and themselves alone.  You know...Fighting for a cause and all that, protectors in some respects.  I suppose that we are close to galahad except in how exactly we do things.  They are more reactive and we are more proactive.  Basicly they jump in front of people to save them, and we just shoot the other bastard first."

Hyran nods. "The weapon masters. There are other 'fighters,' though not nearly as good with weapons, and there are those in House Ares that have not been as altruistic as Starfox seems to believe. Oh yeah, as I told you before, appearance here is based more on your perception of yourself than any actual physical properties. My perception was changed recently, and my appearance changed as a result."

Amanda nods in responce to both Hyran and Fox

[Fox McCloud]

Fox looks back over to Hyran "You have been here longer and have seen things my house have done that I may be unaware of...But we have agreed to take things in a new direction...I would think that you would think that a good thing."  He looks over to Amanda "If what I said sounds like something you would like to be a part of.  We would be more than happy to welcome you into our ranks.  We take care of our own...If not I would like to be one of the first to welcome you to this ridiculousness we call the nexus.  If you decide otherwise you have picked a good guide....Hyran can teach you a lot...Even if he does have a rather jaded outlook."

[DaiKyuu]

"Hardly a nexus, and more like one of the many Hells." the fox takes it upon herself to interject, though she seems content to simply mock and comment from her chosen rock. She'd make a comment about perspectives, but chose against it.

“I suppose it depends on your point of view in how you would perceive this place.” Amanda replies thoughtfully “After all it is providing an opportunity to start over with Hyran; maybe actually be the family we were meant to be.”  The female jedi gives Fox a slight bow “Thank you for your time, I will consider your words when it comes time for a decision.”

Hyran nods to Fox. "Just as my own House has never been a repository of virtue, though its leadership has been remarkable consistant, more so than any other House. No House is perfect, and those claiming to be must be watched the closest."

[Fox McCloud]

Fox looks at the other fox "Hell?  Must have lived a rather privileged life to consider this a hell."

Looks to Amanda "Of course anytime."

To Hyran "I suppose....Ether way...It only matters if you want to be a part of the house instead of just a loosely affiliated member."  Turns back to Amanda. "I would also rather see you be a part of some other house than the latter in house Ares."

[DaiKyuu]

Fox looks at the other fox "Hell?  Must have lived a rather privileged life to consider this a hell."

The vixen indicates herself with a paw, now sitting back on her haunches, her amber eyes on the other fox, "Indeed, I did. As many servants as there were stars in the sky, an army of living wards, ogres, and tasked oni. Life in the service of the daikami Yami was very privileged indeed. Though, these are details, and details can always wait. This isn't my moment or your's. This moment belongs to her." The vixen indicates Amanda with a tilt of her vulpine head.

Amanda get a slightly confused look on her face “I’m sorry,” she says to Fox  “What was that last part.”

[DaiKyuu]

First, she turns to the Cornerian, "Allow me." she states, rather then asks.

Then the kitsune turns to Amanda's ghostly form, "He said he'd rather see you in any clan then trapped as you are and merely a servant of Clan Ares."

Then she turns back to Fox, "That is what you meant."

[Fox McCloud]

Looks to the kitsune "Not exactly..." Looks to Amanda.  "Don't join house Ares unless you plan on being an active member.  We don't need pr want dead weight numbers like some other houses."  He looks to the group "Is there anything else?"

"So. I do not believe that you would fit into House Ares, Avalon, Cleese, Godot, Delphi, Fleming, Helvetia, Lugosi, Lilith, Octagon, Rennaisance, or Tocsin. That leaves House Citadel, Galahad, or Lightfoot."

"Representatives of those three houses I recommend contacting for further information would be Sebastian, Aiskon, and I guess myself, though those gathered here can affirm that I am an atypical member of that House."
