The Jedi Shade smiles and offers a nod at is last statement.
“Not to sound cliché, but I felt a disturbance in the Force. I found myself here and while I was contemplating the idiosyncrasies of the universe…” she frowns a little “or maybe it was ‘Gramps’ I was trying to decipher. Mack shows up, In his original body no less, still believing that I’m apart of the dark side.”
She shrugs again, acknowledging but not thinking too deeply on that part of her life. “We talked, he said you where here, that you have a clone of me.” She frowns slightly at that “I never thought you were one in favour of clones after that War.” She brushes that comment aside with a wave of her hand “anyway, I wanted to see you again. I…” Her gaze drops slightly as she looks away from Hyran, the way she always did during their time together when little bits of self-reveal where about to happen. “I miss you Hyran.”
Amanda takes a deep breath and slowly lets it out, focusing her gaze back on the lightfoot jedi “So… what’s the verdict? I’m I a diabolic trap from you enemies or you wayward niece finally coming home?” there was a slight pause as she remembered that she was dead “In a really weird round about way that is…”

"He was incorrect when he said that I have a clone of you. I have a recreation of you, and everyone I cared about before I was killed, that were created through nothing more than me willing them into being. The copy of Amanda that is here has lost her anxieties and settled for a more contemplative existance. As for me having a distaste of clones, that is also incorrect. I have an extreme distate of mass produced armies, of wholesale reproduction of entities. Clones as individuals are no more or less distasteful than any other being. In some cases, they are the only way that certain genetic birth defects can be reasonably solved."
He studies her a moment longer. "You do not appear to be a Houseless Avatar, and I do not believe that a entity spirit from a Journey World would randomly show up here in the Nexus without some other being lending it power. How did you die, anyway?"

She attentively listened, a strange mixture of happiness and sadness reflecting in her eyes as she learns about the recreations.
At the question of her death her eyes close, focusing on the memory at that point of time “We were going into a cantina,” her blue eyes meeting Hyran’s “You and I. We only just arrived and wanted to find out information. The DAMN Cat was there and a fight broke out between us and then the next thing I know the whole place is up in arms. Blaster bolts, frags, and pretty much everything else that could kill, maim, and be carried on a person. I was doing all right, being defensive, only touching the Force when I really had to, and trying to get the hell out of there. Almost made it too, But then I realized you weren’t with me. I turned back to see where you were, if you had gotten hurt, and then…Blackness.”
Amanda looks away again, her arms coming up, crossing her chest in an improvised hug. “I do not remember anything after that, and then I felt Mack ‘calling’ me and well here I am.”
Her eyes flick a glance back at Hyran, trying to judge his reaction, the lightfoot Jedi can feel her steeling herself for the response, just as she always did, against possible rejection or disappointment from her uncle. After all she died in such a stupid way.

Hyran nods. "Well, I remember those events, but in the Universe I came from, there was more that followed. I was able to use the Force to stabilize your body and severed head long enough to get you into a Bacta Tank. The medibot seemed positive about your survival. I was killed shortly after that, and a showdown with a trio of Dark Jedi. I always was more a healer than a fighter."

“I don’t understand ‘the Universe you came from’ and for being ‘killed’ you look more alive then I do.” She states holding up a transparent faintly glowing hand.

Hyran sits down, much easier than is seems the heavy man should, folding his legs neatly in front of him. "Have you ever consider the concept of parallel dimensions? Alternate realities that are pretty much the same as another, except that some where, one decision was made differently, and the entire course of events from that point forward was irrevocably altered, causing more and more differences until that reality no longer resembles another in the slightest? Consider a Universe in which the mother of the Emporer decided to not have a child. In that reality, the Council still advises the Senate, Aldaraan still exists, and I never became a smuggler, transporting medical supplies to blockaded planets. In another reality, Palpatine was born, but became interested in finance instead of politics, and created a huge corporate powerbase to do his will. In yet another reality, humankind never reached that arm of the Galaxy. Many beings exist on the planets we know, but not one of them is human. This place is the Nexus, the center of all those divergent realities, and from here we can visit them all. They are nothing more than Journey worlds to be visited, though to those living within, they are the sum total of all of their personal reality. There are other worlds even more odd, where magic exists such as only heard of in children's tales, or holodramas. Still others where drawn and painted beings come to a semblence of life and interact with other beings as people."
"So, when I say the Universe I came from, I refer to that specific reality from which I came from. There were events there that took place, and if they are not the same events that occured in your point of origin, then we came from closely diverging realities. I have visited many, and I have been visited by different versions of the people I once knew. I do not believe the Ty that is here is the same one that was in my Origin Universe, but he is very close.Bron, I cannot say with any certainty either, as i did know either him or his history. However, his memories of our world seem to have no noted differences. I cannot even vouch for Mack, though he has indicated no differences at all thus far.
"That is why I have built a stronghold which I populated with beings from my memory, such as my family slain on Aldaraan, the fellow smugglers killed by the Empire, even beings i came to admire while travelling through Journey Worlds while looking for more knowledge."
"And that is why I cannot take you at face value, conveniently arriving in this place at this time."
Hyran shimmers for a second, then becomes as ghostly as a dead Jedi himself. "Here, appearance is a thing of mere will."

As Hyran sits down Amanda drifts over to where he is and sits across from him. She listens carefully absorbing what she could, a small cease of concentration touching her brow. When he is finished there is a long pause
“…Oh…”
Another pause, an emotion flicker over her eyes, accompanied by a very slight, very soft sigh of longing, not that either were easily noticeable, unless one really knew the woman.
“From that point of view it does make sense.”

"At the time I died, the Amanda I knew was alive and in stable condition. Her head and body were regrafting, and she was in a Bacta tank aboard the Neon Otter, in planetary orbit." There was a medibot and a Astromech droid aboard, and they had emergency protocols which would have gotten you out of there if either medical emergencies or threatening vessels were detected and i was unavailable."
He smirks slightly. "Ty always said I worried to much about worst case scenarios."

The female jedi contemplates their conversation thus far, before speaking
“Well there are two options: You don’t believe I am ‘your’ Amanda and I’ll leave or you believe that I am your niece like I know you are ‘my’ Uncle Hyran, and if it’s alright with you, I’ll stay here.”

Hyran raises an eyebrow. "Or a third option, I don't know yet. Only Sith deal in absolutes."

“There are plenty of Jedi Masters that deal in absolutes. Light/Dark, Right/Wrong, etcetera, etcetra. Not very many dwell in the ‘grey’ of the universe, though I suppose one would need to understand both sides to truly be grey.”

“I’m sure there are a plethora Choices, but then things would get confusing. I offered two options and you spoke of a third option, you don't know yet. Which leads us to where we are now.”

I have tried not to overhear your conversation or interfere, however, I feel I must. Hyran has always left open the possibility that I am not the same Mack he was friends with, however he has concluded I am at least close enough and has afforded me the friendship we always held. Should you decide to stay, I am sure he will be the same way with you. You know Hyran, he never gives 100% trust. He works as you go. He is the best friend I have and I still know that there will always be that tiny bit of distrust, maybe a fraction of a percent but always there. He can't help it, yet I know if I ever need him he will be there, and I think he knows I will be too.

Hyran shakes his head, even as his 'ghostly' appearance fades away. "Not distrust. Doubt as to your origin, but I have grown to trust Mack in spite of that doubt."
