Just some rules things that I saw come up.
Rules Calls:
1) Taking the Blow, straight from Vinny: Yes, it can be used as a reaction, so long as the Avatar has an action available in the round. You can *also* declare a Taking the Blow target during initiative.
2) You can come back into a combat on the following round if you have been TK'd out.
3) If you are forced to Flee, and there is no actual way to escape, the walls count as (for mechanics purposes) automatically successfully contesting your Flee action. This means you never actually left the combat, so Flee rules do not apply once the combat ends.
Issues:
1) A lot of abilities say "target" and a lot say "Avatar". Are these mean to be interchangeable, or is it really the intent of specific abilities that non-Avatars (including familiars) are not affected?
2) Stasis and other combat-halting effects are annoying, to be sure :p But I see the time requirement get hand-waved a lot of times. I personally feel that this breaks one of the balancing points of the abilities, and would like to request that such timers be enforced in the future.
