I just went and visited him last night. It is much better than last time this happened, but he is very weak and will probably be in the hospital for at least a week. I did not stay long because he was so week, just talking to someone on the phone and holding the reciever tired him out to where he was drifting off while some of his family and I talked to him. I will try to keep people up to date as he begins to feel better.

Thanks for the update, Mark.  As soon as he's strong enough for calls, you'll let us know?

I called him at the hospital as soon as I got the news (which was about 5 hours after the note was posted).  He sounded weak so I tried to get off the phone as quickly as possible.  I know that he'd need his rest.  At the same time, hearing a friendly voice does wonders too.

I am home. Not as great care as the last time I was there, they sent me home with bronchitis, and never seemed to notice - other minor medical problems also untreated.

On the other hand, my medical insurance is MUCH shittier this time, too.

I get exhausted easily, and am almost constantly short of breath from the bronchitis. Still tender in the abdominal area, and can't breath deeply without cringing in pain.

A slow recovery this time, again. I do not think i am going to do Dreamation this year, too much chance of con rot or other medical problems popping up and knocking me down.

Edit:   Like right now. Not tired, it is just my head is too damn heavy for my neck...

I'll second that.  Bill, you don't need a case of Con Crud on top of everything else you've been thru.  Take it easy and get well.
